She was done crying, now she was wiping under her eyes. She sighed softly and flipped the window wipers on high as the rain seemed to come down harder. She was really paying attention to the road, its not like she normal did not. She sighed and then noticed a horse and rider, slamming on the brakes, she herd Jazzy smacking around in the trailer. She rolled down the truck window, hearing Jazzy kick the trailer in anger. Hey why don’t you get in, you can come back to my place and dry out. She gave him a smile and parked the truck and sat back, she still loved him and thats all that mattered the only problem was if he still felt the same. Jazzy kicked the trailer again, she growled. It was not at him it was because of the horse. She sighed and rested her head on the head rest closing her eyes and waiting.

Jason looked at Alyssa for a few moments then wiped the water from his face. "Thanks" he said smiling as he got off of his horse. He really was soaking wet, him and his horse both. He was grateful that Alyssa had came along when she did. He hurried to load his horse into the trailer and tying him. He closed the trailer gate and then got into the truck. He wiped the water from his face again and then he looked over at Alyssa "Thank again, I really appreciate it" He looked down at his soaking clothes then back at Alyssa "I'm really sorry for splashing water everywhere in your truck" he said smiling

Once he was all set, she put the truck in drive and started down the road again. No problem she spoke and took a quick glance at him before putting her eyes on the road again, its not like its hurting the truck, it has gotten wet before and its not going to be the last. She smiled and turned into her driveway, it was long but it opened up to the house, she pulled the truck up to the barn and shut it off, there’s a spare blanket and some towels in the tack room for you to dry him off, the stalls are ready just pick one. She hopped out of the truck and went to the trailer and got Jazzy out. She brought her out and straight into the barn and into her stall, the mare shivered slightly as the rain was making it a bit chilly, so she grabbed her light blanket and threw it over her, she put the tack in the tack room and filled a bucket with food and then dropped some hay into the feeder. She waited for him to finish before she would take him into the house.

Jason got out of the truck and went around to the back of the trailer and walked out Cal. He was just as soaked as his own horse, he felt bad for taking his horse out into the rain, but he would soon fixed that problem. He led the gelding into the barn and untacked the gelding and dried the drenched brown horse off. He led the horse by the halter he had underneath bridle that he had just taken off and placed the horse in one of the stalls. He got a blanket and put it over the gelding, he patted the gelding once more and then closed the stall door. He walked over to where Alyssa was waiting and smiled at her. "I would hug you, but I'm soaking and dripping wet" Instead of hugging her he kissed her softly on her forehead. "I meant when I said I was sorry earlier, I mean, I am sorry for being such a jerk"

Its fine I don’t really want to be wet right now anyway but it’s the thought that counts right? She smiled and closed her eyes as he kissed her forehead, mmm apology excepted now lets get you dried and in something warm. She took his hand and led him to the house, unlocking the door she dropped his hand a walked in, kicking her boots off in the foyer. laundry room is just over there, just go threw the kitchen it’s the only door, I think I still have a pair of your sweat pants just throw that into the dyer and I will find you something. She walked up stairs and into her room, she quickly found what she was looking for, going back downstairs, she set the pants in the laundry room and went into the kitchen to heat up some water.

Jason quickly changed out of his soaking clothes and threw them into the dryer and then he slipped on the pants that Alyssa had laid out. He still felt like an old wet dog, but this was better than how he was feeling before when he was out in the rain. He walked into the kitchen and he smiled once more when he say Alyssa. He stood there for a few moments just watching her. Then he finally made up his mind and walked over until he was behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist "I'm still a bit wet but oh well" he said smiling

She smiled as he came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. She turned her head so she could see him, the rest of you will dry in time. She smiled and leaned slightly back but the water was done so she flipped the stove off and put the kettle in the middle of it. She reached up and grabbed to two cups and poured the water into each and then dropped a bag of tea into each. She returned her attention back to him, this is nice she spoke. Still getting use to having this house all to myself gets lonely around here. She sighed and closed her eyes enjoying being close to him again.

Jason smiled and kissed the back of her neck "Well you shouldn't be lonely now" He said as he let go of her waist "I didn't want to admit it before, but I have missed you" He said soonafter as he started to remember all of the things he had chosed to forget when he 'ran away' from his father's ranch. He didn't look back that day, but now, many months later, he's looking back on it, he didn't want to let it get to him, but he was letting it get to him anyway. He came to this town looking for a new beginning but he always seemed to trip over his past, but at least, he could start a new beginning with this particular part of his past.

She chuckled and handed him a mug and took the other for herself and walked out into the living room setting it on the coffee table, no im not lonely now but when you leave I will be. She gave him a smile as she sat down on the couch, curling up in ways. As I have missed you, she spoke and reached for her mug, she patted the spot next to her and took a sip of her tea and then setting it down, this is going to sound bad but I just want to be with you and in your arms. She looked down and blushed waiting for him to speak.

Jason smiled as he took the mug and he walked over into the living room and sat it down on the coffee table. He sat down on the couch next to Alyssa and he almost instantly wrapped his arm around her shoulders, he looked over at her "Silly girl, that doesn't sound bad" he said smiling as he kissed her on her cheek

She smiled and rested her head against his shoulder, she sighed softly. Would this be bad? She kissed his neck and then put her head on his shoulder again smiling the whole time. This was right, them together watching the rain fall outside. She bit her lip softly she did not know what to say or what to do. She turned so she was facing him and kissed him, it was different passionate possibly hint towards more, she broke the kiss apart and smiled taking his hand and giving it a gently squeeze.

Jason smiled as Alyssa kissed him then said "All that you do is pretty darn good" he said simply as he kissed her back passionately. There were a million things running through his mind, but everything that he had done, in present time, felt right. He wasn't in doubt over what he should do, at least not now, he didn't wonder if he was making a mistake, like he usually did most of the time, he gave her a hand squeeze in return.

She smiled and stood, his hand in hers she lead him upstairs and to her bedroom. She dropped his hand and opened the french doors to her room, it was big having its own seating area the walls them selves were a light blue and everything else was a mix between light blue, white and brown. She walked over to her bed and sat down patting the spot next to her, she laid back on the king size bed and waited.

Jason smiled, mostly to himself, as Alyssa led him upstairs and to his bedroom. He thought to himself for a few moments after Alyssa dropped his hand then he walked over and sat on the bed. His mind was distracted for a few moment as he looked at the wall but then he shook his head and looked back at Alyssa, smiling slightly.

She rolled over and rested her head on his chest, mmm can you stay with me tonight? She smiled and propped herself off so she could kiss him. I mean you don’t have to I thought it would be nice and when you are ready to go you just have to let me know. The rain was falling in a steady beat right now and it did not look like it was stopping any time soon. She sighed and put her head back on his chest and closed her eyes she was not asleep merely waiting.
