He was satisfied that the mare had calmed down but he wouldn't be surprised if she exploded in the next few minutes. I don't believe Cal has ever kicked or anything. He acts like his 20 instead of 9 He spoke simply. Perhaps, its another one of bad habits He responded. Karla always found someway to try and irritate her rider, but she was smart enough to know that Kyle wasn't going to come off until he wanted to, and that pissed her off anymore. He listened as Rowan spoke again, referring to the city then he turned in the city to hear Sherlock baying and barking in the distance. He turned back in the saddle and held the reins as Karla kicked out with her hind leg and did a half rear. He was used to the mare's antics, every single of them. From kicking to bucking, he knew this mare like the back of his hand, so he eventually got her under control after only a few seconds. He then responded to Rowan's previous statement I don't get along with people of the city very much. Kinda strange, if you asked me. But then again, some may consider me strange again sooo yeah
