She likes to have a good time, with whoever she sees fit. Don't expect her to be shallow though, when she finds a true friend she sticks with them no matter what. Loyalty means a lot to her, so don't break her trust if you don't want to pay the price.
History: Kenna is very close to her big brother, but not so much to the rest of her family. It's not to say they did anything wrong, she just is neither daddy's girl nor momma's little angel. Jacob taught her about what he knew: Fast cars and fast women. Well, and bikes.
He got her her first bike of her very own when she turned 18, trumping her father's present for her 16th birthday, a black mustang with pink racing stripes. She loves riding her bike almost as much as she loves riding her horse, Jynx.

She's a bit of a puppy dog and loves to follow people around.

^click^ MY NAME IS *Vintage Affair "Every Day I'm A Star In the City Walk the Streets Like A wanted Man All the time got my shine lookin pretty Mother **** all know Who I am" Current Age: 13 Gender: Stallion Barn Name: Vin, Vinny Height:16.3hh Breed:Dutch Warmblood Appearance: Vin is the sort of horse who looks taller than he is. Part of this may be because he is a leaner beast with long legs and smooth muscle. He is a bright bay with three socks and a large star which covers one half of his face more than the other. He is a fine specimen with no history of health issues.
His size can be intimidating, but he is really a big pushover. He stands at 16.3 hh, but gives off the appearance of an even larger animal. He has an open shoulder and nice hip, and is overall an extremely well conformed animal. Unlike many of the creatures in this world, he deserves to be an intact stallion.
Likes: Attention Grooming Treats Toys and games Having room to run People
Dislikes: Being bored Not getting attention Cold weather Staying in one place too long Being dirty
Fears: Dark shadows (like a trailer without lights or a dark stall) Horse drawn carts
Strengths: Jumping Dressage Anything technical
Weaknesses: Western Riding (he doesn't like the big clunky squeeky saddles) Gets bored easily
Overall Personality: Vin has been there, done that. Not necessarily in a bad way, he hasn't been ill treated a day in his life. He just knows the ropes. At shows and hacking around he's a dream, he auto-changes, lines up straight for jumps, has a nice natural headset and sweeping stride. Basically, anyone who can balance and halfway steer could ride him through a course. He does have his days, however, as all horses do, when he is going to do as he pleases until you give him exactly the correct cue.
Though he is a stallion, he is not one to worry about. Not to say that he could be thrown in a pasture with any old horse, but when handled he is always well behaved and can be ridden and shown with mares and other stallions alike. He hardly realizes that he has working parts until he is allowed to breed. He understands that it is a privileged and not a right, thanks to attentive and experienced handlers.
Owner: nobody
History:He was born on a plush farm who sold him because, well, that's what you do. He was purchased by a young woman who wanted to train him up to be her personal hunter jumper mount. When he reached the ripe age of four she began training him on the flat, leaving him another year to develop before she began jumping him. She took him all the way from baby green to working hunter at age 9. But then she had to move for work and couldn't bring him along.
So she sold him to a local stable who continued his career and promote him as a stud. However, in these economic climates, every horse has to earn its keep, so he could not simply lead the life of pampered show pony anymore. They began using him in lessons, at first tentatively, but then realizing that he had a true knack for it. The couple who owned the stables went through a nasty divorce, though, and now all of their prized animals are being sold off one by one.

MY NAME IS *SeeAPennyPickItUp And all day you'll have good luck Current Age: 8 Gender: Mare Barn Name: Penny Appearance: Penny is a well built mare, a typical quarter horse. She's small in stature, only 14.3 hh, but she makes up for it in sheer presence. She is maintains her well defined muscles easily, and is in general a very hearty horse, stocky and well bred.
She is a buckskin, though a very dark one, and has no frosting in her mane like many of her color possess. She isn't the flashiest of horses in the show ring, but she can still wind up in the ribbons. An advantage of her short stature is she can easily maneuver around tight turns, making her ideal for many speed events and jumper courses.
Likes: Food Treats Attention Naps in the sun Kids Women Playing Getting into trouble
Dislikes: Yelling Men Roughness Bullies Training aids (tie downs, spurs, etc) Being cooped up too long
Fears: Water on the ground (rain is fine, puddles are not) Drafts Stallions (unless she's in heat, haha!)
Strengths: Speed events Trail rides Reining Cattle Work Jumping Taking care of her rider
Weaknesses: Water Jumps Gets in trouble a lot Can get lazy lazy
Overall Personality: Penny is your typical Quarter Horse. Very well rounded and can tackle most anything. She is a jack of all trades, one could say. Unlike most speed horses she has a cool head about her. She has a great sense of her rider and can tell when she is supposed to get hyped up and ready to run, in which case for some events all you have to do is steer her towards the chute and hang on. But she also knows when to keep calm and listen to her rider.
As long as you are confident around her she will do well for you, but if you get scared she can easily misinterpret that nervous energy as a cue to run. The best thing to do in an anxious situation is try to exude confidence, even if it is feigned.
Owner: nobody yet
History: She has bounced from owner to owner, some of them great, some of them....well, not so much. The two female owners she has had have been the most caring, but one of them ran out of time to work with her with all her other horses. The other sent her off to training and when she returned she could not handle her anymore.
The trainer had simply been no good, instead of fixing the problems he strapped more equipment to her and forced her before she was ready. So that owner sent her to auction where she began passing hands quickly, no one willing to do actual work with her. She simply can't be ridden with too many gadgets, and has a long history of breaking tiedowns and other aids.

MY NAME IS *DAVIS tarver HAYES! "don't believe everything that you breathe" Current Age: 23 Gender: Male Sexuality: Heterosexual Height: 6'2" Weight: 159lbs Appearance: Davis is tall, lanky, and overall not the most attractive guy to most people. He's a little scetchy looking, it's not just his tattoos or piercings, but the way he carries himself. Something about him just doesn't seem wholesome.
He has shaggy, fine brown hair that he seldom combs. His eyes are green, but it's often difficult to tell. He participates in some less than legal activities which usually cause his eyes to look a little sunken in and red, so he often avoids eye contact with strangers. Likes: Horses Guns Cars Women Weed
Dislikes: Authority figures Cops Cats Jocks Uptight people
Fears: His parents Going nowhere
Strengths: Loyal friend Great at keeping secrets Good listener
Weaknesses: Known to fly off the handle Short temper Hard to motivate Lazy
Overall Personality: Burnout. He is a bit sketchy, and doesn't invoke much trust from people. He participates in some less than savory activities, and hangs out with the wrong crowd. He's used to getting kicked out of places, not that he enjoys it, he just knows how to take it. He hates cops with a passion but he would never explode on them like he does other people. He knows how to keep his head down when he needs to.
He loves his horse, Tucker, but he rarely gets up the motivation to ride. Sometimes he goes out and just sits with him, but he doesn't do as much riding as he used to. Maybe he resents the pressure from his parents to perform, or maybe he's just truly lazy. It's something he hasn't quite figured out yet.
History: Davis has spent his entire life in the same town. He's seen a lot of changes happen in just his short life, but he still resents the fact that his life seems stagnant. Sure, new places are popping up, new things to see and do, but he still feels overwhelmingly bored. This can lead to him finding ways to occupy himself that are not generally condoned.
His parents met here, actually, at Shoreline Ranch, where they worked as trainer and instructor. They brought him up around horses, and he knows how to ride. He can ride english or western, compete in three day or cutting, it doesn't really matter. He just doesn't want anyone to know that. He doesn't ride around people very often, he'd rather do his own thing.
Family: Emma Grace Hayes//51//Mother//Riding Instructor Dylan Tarver Hayes//55//Father//Trainer Kody Lynn Hayes//17//Sister//Student William "Alex" Hayes//9//Brother
Horses:
Davis has one horse, Tucker, that he rarely rides. As a result, he has to be pretty much retaught every time he does ride. He is explosive and unpredictable undersaddle and in hand. If he didn't have connections through his parents he would probably not be allowed to keep him there.

MY NAME IS *KODY lynn HAYES! ladidadidadida Current Age: 17 Gender: Female Sexuality: Heterosexual Height: 5'7" Weight: 150lb Appearance: Kody is athletic, but still has a softness about her. She is a lot stronger than she looks. She is fairly average as far as most things go, her height, her weight, her looks. But she has a certain charm about her, and carries herself well. If you asked her, she would tell you she is beautiful, and for the most part, it is true... In that, girl next door kind of way, anyway.
Likes: Horses People Attention Having fun Learning new things
Dislikes: Laziness Rudeness Swimming
Fears: The dark Heights Loosing her family
Strengths: Highly motivated Determined Strong Organized
Weakness': Impatient Attention seeking Tunnel vision
Overall Personality: Kody is very determined, very stubborn, and very passionate. She is not as natural a rider as her brother, which drives her crazy. She is very good, but she has to work at it. She is a bit on the serious side, making up for the maturity her brother lacks. She is, however, a middle child and acts the part from time to time, demanding the attention of those around her.
History: Kody has the drive to be the best at everything she does. A lot of it comes from sibling rivalry, it seems that everything Davis tries, he excells at. But he does not have the motivation to do anything with that ability. That fact alone drives Kody mad, she is determined that she will best him. She's grown up in this town, but has always been so busy with her own work, trying to become the best rider and person she can be, that she doesn't have much of a social life just yet.
Family: Emma Grace Hayes//51//Mother//Riding Instructor Dylan Tarver Hayes//55//Father//Trainer Davis Tarver Hayes//23//Brother//none William "Alex" Hayes//9//Brother
Horses: Mockingbird
Scout Scout is fancier than she looks, she has a real presence about her even though she is not the mot eye catching horse out there. She is a real puppy dog and will follow anywhere. She is willing and a quick learner, and can compete in whatever you put your heart into. Lead the way and she will follow. Kody had the opportunity to buy several different finished and fancy horses, but something about Scout stuck with her, she kept coming back to her. The pair bonded, and the decision was made. Scout was to be Kody's for as long as they desired. Scout has never been mistreated, nothing traumatic or spectacular about her history, she's just a horse.

MY NAME IS *WILLIAM alexander HAYES! butyoucancallme Alex " ladida " Current Age: 9 Gender: Male Sexuality: Heterosexual Height: 4'9" Weight: 70lbs Appearance: Alex is a stocky kid, he's always been big for his age. He seems to have gotten the same height his brother has, but with more bulk. He has dark blonde hair and hazel eyes, and is overall a pretty cute kid. He is incredibly strong, though, and when he doesn't get his way he can use that to his advantage. Likes: Candy Horses Sports Friends Family
Dislikes: Being ignored Being bored Cheaters Bullies Vegitables
Fears: Doctors Vets
Strengths: Strong Natural Rider Protective
Weakness: Impatient Loud
Overall Personality: Alex is the youngest child, and he acts accordingly. While deep down he's a really sweet kid, he tends to act out a lot. He is always nice to girls, but he tries to beat his big brother up on a regular basis. He is loud, and has no problem causing a scene, but that should go away with age and maturity...let's hope...
History: There's not much to say about Alex yet. His parents are busy setting up their own barn, since the one where they once trained and instructed at closed its doors. In the mean time, he hangs out with his older siblings while his parents work. He loves horses and has been riding since he could sit up. He has his own horse, one would think that a pony would suit him best. But no, not this kid. His mount is a 16hh Thoroughbred named Devil's Mistress, aka Mist. She was a rescue, then a lesson pony, then Alex fell in love with her and his parents decided she should be his. Unconventional yes, but they suit each other just fine.
Family: Emma Grace Hayes//51//Mother//Riding Instructor Dylan Tarver Hayes//55//Father//Trainer Davis Tarver Hayes//23//Brother//none Kody Lynn Hayes//17//Sister//Student
Horses: Devil's Mistress
Mist Mist loves food, and has an affinity for water. I mean, this horse loves water. The second she hears a hose turns on she runs towards it, and if it's raining you can bet she'll be standing in it. She adores children but does not care much for adults. When a child is on her back she can do anything, neck rein, stop on a dime, jog along comfortably, whatever they ask. But if an adult is up she will wait until she is given exactly the correct cue. Mist was never cut out to race. She could run as fast or faster than any other horse out there...if she was alone. But the second other horses were on the track with her she just wanted to hang out. She was sold off and mistreated, finally being rescued by the Hayes family. They used her as a lesson pony once she was trained and healthy, but the youngest child, Alex, fell in love with her, and she with him. She's been his ever since.
