Soul Eater It was spring time, everything so bright and warm. The sun was high in the sky, it's rays basking the terra in it's warmth. The sky was a royal blue, with thick white clouds rolling past in a slow, snaily past. The forest that was in the distance was alive, the tree's branches waving wildly, and birds singing as they flew and collected food for their chicks. The long grass was waving, like a green sea. The river that passed by was rushing, the water's cold and a silvery blue. This place screamed a homely place, and that's why it attracted this equine that would cause havoc...and maybe a income to the owners. The equine was coming soon, and it would be a big suprise to this person, a very big one indeed for who thought a famous creature would pop out of no where? No one.
---
Soul Eater reared, a scream escapping his maw. Crown was thrown back, yanking at the lead rope the man held. The man held fast, and brought Soul down, and glared at the stud Famous or not, don't try to pull that stunt on me, stallion he spat, and tugged on the rope. Soul glared at him, and struck out with every ounce of fury he possessed. His dagger connected with the man's knee, cracking the bone. The man screamed and released the rope to clutch his knee while saying Damn you equine and You bastard, I will get you for that. Soul Eater didn't stop to listen to see if the man had anything else to say. Whirling on his rear pillars, he dashed forth, through the streaming crowd, heading for somewhere, anywhere but this....rich filthy auctioning place. He headed for the big gates where equines where being led out by those pesty humans.
Letting a snort escape his nostrils, Soul Eater dogded some men and ropes that darted through the air. He put on a burst of speed (see he could still run) and made it past the hug gates. Soul closed his orbs once, feeling the weights of man lift from his shoulders before they sprung open again. He glided around the car's, walking men, and following equines. Making it onto the road, he dashed down, on the side, barely looking at the car's that passed every now and then. He never relented on his gallop, knowing those humans would come after him, and no way in all nine hells did he want to be captured. Though he lived a good life in racing, Soul didn't think the humans who bought them there would be good, so he had escaped from the wretched man and the life that would have come.
Soul reared when a semi honked his horn, the sound echoing in his auds. He bared his teeth, and reared again before bolting down the side of the road again. He didn't know where he was going, and at the time, he didn't care. His speed picked up, the blinding speed he had when he was racing, before he retired. His daggers slammed onto the concrete road, but he didn't notice at all. The sound of the car's rushing past, he didn't even blink. Yet when the scenery began to change and everything turned beautiful and non-citish did he slow down and really look around. This placed looked like where he was born, where he was meant to be! Not the sound of car's, or the acid smell of car exhaust or oil, but a real wild country!
Soul Eater pranced in place and began to trot down the now dirt sidewalk beside a long wooden fence. He ignored the cattle, and other equines for they didn't interest him one bit. Nope, he was looking for some wild country, where he could rid himself of mankind and be what he truely was: Pure wild stallion. Lost in his thoughts of freedom, Soul didn't hear the pickup driving torwards him until the shout of a man and the hising of a rope. He noticed plenty when the rope settled around his neck. Startled, he bolted, and yanked the man along with him. His auds picked up the sound of a thud, then the sound of a man being dragged on the terra. He glanced back, seeing the figure of the men holding onto the rope with both hands while being dragged through the sand and rocks. Soul turned his crown back forward, and picked up speed.
The man knew if this kept up, he would be tore to shreds. So he released the rope and came to a halt. His stomach, arms, and legs hurt, and burnt like fire. Yet he didn't notice as he watched the thundering equine run. Soul felt the rope slacken and put on a burst of speed, and left the truck and people in his dust. When he finally stopped runnign once more, he was before a long dirt road that was fenced on both sides and was lost in the distance. Soul stood still before finally he began to jog down it, crown held high. He smelled the scent of humans, hay, equines, but most of all....water! His nostrils quivered, and he swallowed, his throat parched.
Soul went a little faster until a farm came in view. He stopped dead in his tracks and stood there quievering. Would the humans be good or bad? Would they give him back to....those humans or keep him? Only time would tell. Soul walked forth, ready to face whoever was here with his crown up high. [/blockquote]

Sammie, growled as the mare trotted around the round pen with her keys! The one thing the girl needed to keep the mare now had and was taunting her with it, Sammie lunged for the mare and snagged the keys from the mare and stuffed them into her pant pockets. Jade you annoying little brat. She tossed the light sheet on the mares back and buckled it before the mare could bit it off. She lead the mare out and to the pasture, she un clipped her and the mare whinnied and tore off, shutting the gate tight behind her, she herd the steady beat of a horse and wondered who on earth had gotten out but when she turned around there was a stallion she had never seen before, looking all dirty, exhausted and very thirsty, she walked over to the stallion, shh easy boy she spoke calmly and softly, its ok you will be ok here I promise. She took the rope that was around his neck and slipped it off, next she grabbed the lead rope that was dangling and lead him into a stall and gave him some fresh cold water, she put the stall guard up, there you go boy. She had a good idea were he had come from so she took out her phone and made the call.
She said she would take the thoroughbred stallion and would send the check in the mail. She was given the horses name and then hung up the phone, the man was very rude and she could understand why Soul had run. I can understand why you ran boy but you don’t have to worry about them any more, because you are staying here, now drink up and get some rest before I introduce you to the other two stallions I have. She smiled and walked into the tack room to grab some hay and a feed bucket in which she set in his stall and waited.

Soul Eater auds pricked as a human girl came up to him. Her soft voice and the smell of equines on, not pissed off ones or scared ones, made him relax slightly. He nickered when the rope was slipped from his neck, and followed her as she lead him into the barn. His muscles protested at the movement, but still he followed, for this girl meant him no harm, and it was better living her with this girl then those mongrel men. As she placed a pail of cold water before him, he glanced at her, bobbing his crown. Then he dipped his muzzle into the water and drank in deep gulps. The water soothed his parched throat, giving strength to his exhausted bodice, and his thoughts cleared from the fog. Orbs glanced up as he watched the girl close the stall with a rope it seemed and walked off. Soul brought his crown up, his maw dripping water. He pawed the straw ground with one dagger, wondering where his new friend had gone, and why she had left him a lone. Barrel grumbling, he looked around for some hay or something to eat but found nothing. He blew a gust of air through his nostrils.
When the girl returned and started talking to him, Soul let his aud come down as he listened. She had a nice voice, and was explaining something about how he was going to stay there or something but he didn't know. Human language was still foreign to his auds. When the girl left, he snorted again in discomfort and stepped forth, pressing against the stall guard. Alas, she returned with hay and a feed bucket. When it came into his stall, he ate some hay, then started munching on what was in the feed bucket. His barrel growled in bliss, and his crown bobbed. He noted how she was still there, seeming to wait for him to finish. Taking a couple more mouth fulls of feed, and a few more munches of hay, he declared himself done. Soul let a whistle escape his maw, before standing tall and waiting for his 'masters' orders. [/blockquote]

Sammie chuckled as the stallion watched her and then decided he was done, she removed the feed bucket and left the water and hay in his stall. She took the lead rope and clipped it on to the stallions halter before dropping the stall guard and leading him out into the sun. she brought him over to her two stallions and let them all get a good look at each other, they would be neighbors you could say, the thoroughbred stallion would go in his own pasture seeing she did not want to mess up the balance that had been created with Caillou and Barbary. Sammie opened the gate and brought the stallion into his own pen, she shut the gate and scratched his neck, looking over him to make sure she had not missed anything when she had brought him into the barn. She picked up each leg and checked his hoofs. When she was satisfied she un clipped the lead rope and stepped back to sit on the fence and watch the stallion.
Caillou and Barbary were very interested in this new horse and so they came trotting down to the fence that divided them and hung there heads over trying to reach the new stallion and taking in his scent, Go on Soul and met the two just watch out for Barbary. In which at his name he snorted and tossed his head, Sammie already had a good idea as to what he was thinking. Sammie just sat back and watched making sure she would be able to stop anything bad from happening.
