Description: Karla is a very tall AQH mare, the perfect size horse for Kyle though. Although she is very tall, do not expect her to be nice and slender like many tall horses are. This mare looks like a typical American Quarter Horse, if you pretend not to notice her high stature. She is a cremello, and she is very hard to spot in a field of horses. Her coat is creamy white and her mane reaches her shoulder and her tail reaches just above her fetlocks. She looks like a typical mare too, and she acts like one. Even though she is a cremello she has dark brown eyes, while some cremellos have blue eyes.
Personality: Karla is a nice mare, when she wants to be. She can also be really mean too, in fact she just as nice as she is mean. If she likes you, she will be your best friend, if she doesn't or if she gets jealous she might bite or try to kick you. However, she stop acting mean if her curiousity gets the better of her which most of the time it does. She isn't a very talkative mare, meaning she doesn't nicker and whinny like most horses do, but when she does it is a shrill sound, and once again, typical mare,
History: Zippos Downtown Gal was born in Texas on Kyle's uncle's ranch. He was interested in the horse when she was just about 2 years old and he pestered his uncle until he agreed to sale her for 3500$. Yup, that was alot of money but Kyle didn't care, when he wanted something, he had to have it so he had money saved up anyway and he bought the mare. Kyle trained the mare himself in the air of calf roping and reining, and it was always an odd sight to see the snowy mare compete. And it was always a good laugh when Kyle evented her in calf roping on a rainy day and the mare had transformed into a muddy brown horse. Kyle has owned the mare for just about 4 years and he still events with her, its his passion because he knows what the cremello mare can do and he wants to show the world the potential she has.
