Name:
Ash
Show Name:
Ashes to Ashes
Age:
Nine
Gender:
Gelding
Wild or Tame:
Tame
Breed:
Canadian Warmblood cross
Height:
Sixteen Three
Physical Description:
Ash is a big animal, sturdy as anything and bomb proof as a cast iron chamber. He's always been an amiable looking horse, with his dark tipped ears pricked up and big brown eyes watching out. He has a dark bay coat and the traditional plain black mane and a few white streaks from his hind quarters and one across his stomach. He has no facial markings, but does have two socks on both his left hind leg and right and left foreleg. He has a stocking on his right hind leg. He's easily recognised in his Police horse tack when around the town. He might not be the flashiest horse, but he's a good sweet hearted working animal
Personality:
Ash is more or less completely bomb proof. He's been trained as a police horse and does it to the best of his ability. He's calm and collected when out on patrol, but in his field can show a bit of his excitement when kicking up his heels. If out with another horse he can act up a little, usually jingling his bit and throwing his head about, nothing major, but it can just be annoying. He has his little habits, as all horses do. His mostly are leaning always on his back right hind hoof rather than his left and playing with his bit. He's pretty friendly to most people, but can get bored of attention and then he'll just ignore you. He gets bored easily if he's in his stable and much prefers to be out in the fields all year round, which is why Connor keeps him in winter rugs and out in the fields unless it gets particually icy. To other horses he's no real difference in personality unless he's patrolling with them. Otherwise he's just a sweet nine year old.
History:
Born and bred to be a police horse. He's not as big as many horses in the force, but that didn't matter to his trainer. He was given a traditional breaking, just simple dressage and jumping, very, very simple. At four he was given over to the police trainers who carted him up to being the calm, educated horse he is today. He was gelded at five, but it just calmed him down a bit. His first rider was an experienced policeman who was just riding him for experience before he retired. His life hasn't been the most exciting, nothing extreme has happened in quiet Felicity. At eight he was given to Officer McFyrne of the Felicity Mounted Unit and so far hasn't been too far off the mark of a remarkable mount.
If tame, discipline:
