10,500. Includes show carriage, saddle, bridle and show halter.
One of the rings was set up with jumps, and an older woman was riding a large, well-muscled Cleveland Bay gelding around the ring, warming him up for the jumps. She was sad to have to sell the big, talented gelding, for he was certainly a winner. But she was changing professions to a breeder, not so much as showing, and he just didn't fit in. Which was why she was getting rid of his show carriage and his other tack. Bluegrass Murder obeyed his rider's commands beautifully, his large frame clearing the low jumps with ease and grace, his proud mind settling to the ease of this event that was second nature to him. He was a winner and he knew it. His ego was just as large as his frame, which was most evident on the ground. Under saddle he was a completely obedient animal, and did his job well. But now he was for sale, which was the biggest blow to his ego he had encountered in a while, especially since at this current place he had been one of the biggest winners at the barn. But no more.
