Why the sun?

Smiling I laughed good wail you are doing the dishes I can go take a bath, I need a little relaxation and unwinding. I smiled and watched as he took a small bit, im glad you like it. I ate the shrimp first and then the pasta last it was just something I had always done when my mom use to make it for our family when I was younger. Sighing I ran my hand through my hair and pushed my chair back, I looked at the clock do you mind feeding Pandora when you are done im pretty sure she is hungry and she might take two bottles again.I smiled and stood taking my plate over to the sink, I set it down on the counter, I walked back over to him gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, we can watch a movie when were all done. I walked up stairs and started running the water, I put some bubbles in and a few bath beads and then went to grab a towel from the closet and other things. I turned the water off shut the door and soon was in the warm water, now this was what the doctor had ordered, closing my eyes I let the music take me away after a good twenty minuets I washed up and got out, I changed and dried my hair putting the towel in the hamper and walking out I walked downstairs not for sure if he was back from feeding Pandora yet so I went a sat down in the living room curled up on the sofa with a throw and turned the tv on flipping through the channels until I decided on animal planet.

I nodded, and as she kissed me I couldn't help but remember the kisses that we shared up on the hill during the sunset. I quickly finished eating and then did the dishes, leaving them out to dry. Whistling as I walked back outside, I remembered that I needed to let my brats in. Quickly I led them back to their stalls, making sure they had enough hay and such to get through the night, but they did. Finally, after a couple bottles and much attention, Pandora was done for the night. Making sure that each horse had food and were comfortable, I left, looking around as I did so for any psychos. Walking into the house I stomped my boots on the patio to get the muck off them before entering. Hearing the drone of the television I walked that way and plopped down next to her. So what're we watching? I asked with a small smile, playing with a strand of her hair before letting my hand rest on her arm. I looked at the tv and noticed the Animal Planet logo in the corner. Such entertainment. No actually it was. Animal Planet, except for their 411 shows, was actually pretty interesting. I kept listening outside still before calming down. Tonight I would have to take a shower, but Sammie was just gonna have to deal with me stinky for now.

I was watching the show and so into it that I did not hear when he came in, so when he sat down and spoke I jumped, taking a moment to catch my breath I looked over at him. We are watching animal cops and then after word is underdog to wonder dog. I smiled as his hand rested on my arm after he was done playing with a strand of my hair. I sighed before speaking, by the way you smell like a horse you should go take a shower. I laughed and then stretched out resting my head on his shoulder, the smell did not bother me it was just really another smell. So did Pandora enjoy her bottle? I yawned slightly thinking back to when my brother got sprayed by a skunk he thought it was a “kitty”. You know when my brother was younger he use to think skunks were cats and he ended up getting sprayed you should have seen the look on my mothers face. I smiled and sat up, my hair was still damp but like it would bother him much, I leaned against the arm rest so I could see him better, I reached over and flipped on the lamp to find were my cell phone had disappeared to. I found it under the arm rest I set it on the table and flipped the lamp off, sorry if I don’t have my phone some were near me and my mother calls and I don’t answer all hell will brake lose. I smiled and waited putting my head back on his shoulder.

Too bad. I stated, crossing my arms as if I was pouting again but then melted when her head landed on my shoulder. I put my arm around her, rubbing slowly up and down her arm before letting her pull away. I listened to her story, laughing a little. Sounds like something a little kid would do. Maybe someone should have gotten him a "kitty" that was de-juiced. There were such things, although they were probably expensive and hard to come by. At the mention of her mom I remembered that I haven't called my own mom in a while, and I should check up to see what was going on. At least my ex-wife allowed them to see little Evey, and they gave me updates all the time. How much she has grown, how she is learning to read. Thinking about all the different things sent another wrenching pain through my heart, but I didn't let Sammie see it. Feeling the warm weight of her head against my shoulder again made me sigh in contentment. This time I wrapped both arms around her, pulling her down with me as I lied on the couch, keeping both arms around her. I was going to be obstinate this time, I didn't want her to leave me again. We worked pretty much the whole day away, and I was exhausted, but I wanted some time with Samm before I took a shower and went to bed.

I rolled my eyes, do what ever your heart pleases, I smiled as he rubbed my arm but he allowed me to move, he had a kitty that was normal and was not black with a white strip down its back and it did not have a smell to it and he could hug it and it still would not have a foul smell but I guess he just had to have that one Kitty. I laughed, yes my brother was not a normal kid when he was younger but know he was just crazy, he was a bull rider and he also did bronc riding but neither was safe. Ya but he did grow up to be a heartbreaker with all the women and he became a bronc and bull rider, actually he met his wife there she does cutting but she came with her father to watch the rodeo and I guess you could say the rest was fate. I laughed as he wrapped both arms around me and pulled my down with him so I was laying on the couch with him. I sighed and went back to watching the show not for sure what to say.
