Oh goodness. Had she just done what he think she had just done? He couldn't believe his eyes. See this is how he saw beaches, white sands, a blue sea, and beautiful women. No one could blame for his way of thinking but goodness. He needed to calm down, the old hound. He got up from where he had been sitting down previously. He didn't feel like sitting down anymore, though he was starting at the girl in the water as if she was an angel and she had just turned water into wine, or wine into water, or however it goes. A content sigh escaped before he literally forced himself to tear his gaze away from the err angel in the water. Goodness, the poor girl was killing him a bit. He was speechless as he looked else where. Don't look at the water...don't look at the water..don't look at the girl in the water. Oh crap. He looked. Again. [/color][/blockquote] |

The water tumbled over her fingers, sluggishly moving past in order to wash the sand and shells up onto shore, then to bring them back into the ocean again. Wading in farther, she shivered once more, twirling around to face the shore rather than the horizon. She quirked an eyebrow in curiosity as she realized that he was staring at her. Popping her hip slightly, Kai waved before beckoning him with a bent index finger. “Why don’t you come join me?” She questioned as she took a few steps backward, a wave trying to stop her movement by crashing into the back of her knees. Faltering only slightly, she continued backward before turning and walking in deeper, allowing him to follow her if he saw fit. The water caressed her waist, the momentum of the push and pull lifting her off of her feet for a slight moment. Pausing momentarily, she turned her head, glancing to see if Kyle had taken her offer.

Oh why must he suffer so? In his mind he knew it would end badly if he went into the water. No he wasn't afraid of the water, in fact he loved water. However, the female in the water, was the problem. He sighed moments after as he watched the water lap at the shoreline. It was so freakin difficult to do things nowadays. He sighed again and took a few steps forward until he was standing right where the water lap at the shores. So difficult He thought as he raised his gaze to look at Kai a little ways off. Kai sighed heavily at his reluctance, retracing her steps back toward shore. "Was? Afraid of a little water, yes?" She teased gently as she stopped a few feet from him. Tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear only to have it come out of place again, she sighed once more in defeat as she gazed at Kyle. Why was he being so hesitant? Was he actually afraid of the water? Did he not like her enough to enjoy a romp in the waves for a bit? Oh god, did she look terrible?! She frowned at the thought of how atrocious she must look to be scaring him off... "Is there...something wrong?"

"I don't know..." She lied cautiously, tilting her head back to study the seagulls that circled cheerfully above their heads. Blinking at the brightness of the clear blue sky, she shook her head lightly, looking back at the handsome fellow before her. Scraping her bottom lip with her teeth, she wrapped her hand around his wrist, squeezing ever so slightly. "Komm mit mir, bitte?" Kai smiled encouragingly, squeezing her finger ever so slightly. "Wir werden Spaß haben." She promised as she attempted to lead him further into the water, walking backward to do so.
