able promise ! The red filly tossed her head as she stood in her stall. She didn't take a liking to being inside stalls. Her red tail flicked irritably across her flanks then soon after she was pacing back in forth in her stall. She felt like going for a run or being ridden or something Anything that meant she could get out of her stall would satisfy her. A loud, irritated nicker escaped her before she continued pacing her stall again. She did a small half rear in her stall before kicking out with a fore hoof towards the stall door. She tossed her head at the sound. One last nicker came from her before she started pacing her stall once more

"Hey girl! You bored huh? Lightning is too but I just took him out on the track. How about I let you loose on that track and see what you can do? I hadn't rode you yet huh?" I said. I grabbed a lead rope and clipped it to the filly's halter. "Come on let's see." I opened the door and lead her out. I clipped her to the cross ties and started to groom Promise. After this I would saddle her and get out on the track.

The filly simply snorted as her owner clipped the leado nto her halter and led her to the cross ties. She was ready to run now! Not later, not soon, now! She stomped her hoof as she was groomed. Usually the filly wasn't so impatient, but she hadn't run in ever, so she had good reason to act the way she did. She flicked her tail irritably across her flanks as she snorted, her ears flicking back and forth

"Easy girl." I said. Then I started to tack her up. "Come on girl, lets go." I said a few minuates later leading the mare out of the barn. I mounted her and walked her slowly toward the track. I wondered how the filly would react to running on a practice track again. I knew that she loved to run but not much else.

The filly snorted as the woman got into the saddle and walked her to the track. A track! She had not seen a track in so long, that she could not believe her eyes. She snorted again, did this mean that she could run? She turned her head so that she could look at her rider than she looked back to the track again. She nickered Hello old friend She tossed her head

"You ready girl?" I asked then trotted her on the track, warming her up. "We're not going to go to fast today just a slow gallop first time around and then a two minuate lick at the end. It shouldn't make you too tried for your first day out here." I said, telling the horse the plan before trotting her to the backstrech. I let her go a a slow gallop the first round feeling how the filly moved and hearing her strong whooping breaths as we went along. On the last or second round then at the one eighth pole I let her go til the wire. It was fun to feel her long sweeping strides for the first time, to feel that desire of winning coming out in a horse. I started to slow her patting the mare's sweaty neck. "Good work out for your first time." I said. I turned her toward the gap to get off the track.

She had listened to the humans words but she clearly did not understand them, only thing she understood was that she was going to go on a track and that had excited her. She snorted after the work out, the human wanted her to run too slow! She wasn't a slow horse! Her ear flicked as the human spoke words again. She tossed her head as she snorted. At least she got to leave that silly ol stall, that was more depressing than even this. She raised her gait into an anxious trot, flicking her tail across her flanks. This lady is boring!
