The girl pushed him into a canter with her heel, he snorted and obediently picked up the swinging bounce of his lengthy canter. The woman had set up the arena with jumps. He knew what was going on. He was for sale again. He held his head arched and collected himself as the woman pointed him towards a tall oxer. He lifted his muzzle forward and looked at the jump, he took one powerful long stride, collected again than went up and powered over the jump. Halfway over it he tucked his legs under himself before kicking them back out for his landing. The woman quickly sat up and pulled his head towards a roll top liver pool. She gave him his head and he charged to it than soared over it. After that she pulled him off the course and he heard her speak into something that amplified her voice. That’s right everyone. This magnificent horse is only a thousand and three hundred dollars. We have too many horses in our barn’s and its hard to let him go but we have to.” She pulled him into a smooth trot and showed off his father’s gaits, the extremely long and soft extended trot than the airy handsome collected trot. His ears flickered around, to hear people whispering amongst themselves. He snorted and stopped as soon as the signal was given.
The woman stepped off and stripped Mask of most of his tack, leaving his bridle on. She picked up a lunge whip and flicked it into the air. He tossed his head than cantered away. She was giving him free run of the arena. He just cantered and walked around, sniffing at jumps and the ground. Occasionally popping over a jump for the heck of it. He wandered over to the fence and sniffed at people, curious to whom would be the new one to hold him.
