She settled in for the night, she could hear him and smell him enter but he did not come. B simply nosed around the trees, the small area were she was. Knowing it was safe now she settled and began to slowly relax, she had found a spot under some wilted branches, they made a shelter, seeing there were three wall type things and the front was the only thing open, she circled and lowered her frame onto the ground, she wrapped her banner around her pillars and then her crown followed. Her harks flicked back against her skull and then flicked forward but soon settled in a sideways fashion she wondered if he would find her in the morning or if she would have to do the dirty work, she had lost his scent when he had gone done to the water so there was no hope. Soon enough her thoughts settled and her orbs closed and she fell asleep.

It was only a couple hours, but soon enough he had awoken again, fully refreshed. The sun had yet to rise but the moon was low in the sky. Remembering he now had an occupant, he exited the cave quickly, glancing around. There seemed to be no danger lurking around them, so he started to walk calmly, feathers dancing off his hooves. His amber orbs took in the sights and his nostrils took in the aromas. He could smell her, and tried to make sure that his steps were light as to not wake her. He passed and eyed her before standing in the shadows a little ways away, just wanting to make sure nothing was to harm her. Danger looked around, ears flickering back and forth at each sound. His muscles were at ease as he brought his head down and started to graze. He did not want B to think he was stalking her, but he just wanted to make sure she was safe. He was certain, though, that she could protect herself. He would be there on the sidelines just making sure she could get through it. [/blockquote]

Within her sleep she twitched, she was having a nightmare. Her hazel orbs locked onto his brown ones, why would he push her? Make her snap? Why would he say such hurtful things to her? With out a warning she attacked him, a swift and effortless fight but when she was done she looked at his mangled body, his orbs looking at hers as his glazed over and his breathing seized, remorse and guilt that is what she felt within. She was hurt and now this. Her dream took a sharp and violent turn, from the begin not just the part were she attacked but the part were he pushed her into letting him explore her caverns, the part were he said she was worthless and whispered hurtful things in her harks and most of all the hurt she felt inside…. She jumped and raised her crown it was morning, she was covered in sweat, her tresses clung tight to her nape, breathing was hard and labored. She physically forced herself to calm down, then she caught scent of him near her, she stood and shook off her pelt. She did not say a word to him, just lowered her crown and began to graze, she had turned away from him, she was really not that strong because right now she was crying.

Danger watched her but then turned away and started grazing again. She was dreaming and it was something personal for her. He was not going to watch her and try and analyze it. He tried to close out his thoughts so he could not hear her. The grass had so much nutrients and tasted so good. The sun was raising and he felt some of the warmth through much of the branches on his cool canvas. He heard the rustling where B had been sleeping and glanced over. She was turned from him and grazing. He took a couple steps forward before stopping, not wanting to interrupt her if she did not want company. B? He said tentatively in his gruff voice. He just wanted to make sure that she was okay. [/blockquote]

B’s harks flicked back hearing his voice, she stopped grazing. She was still crying before he would even know what hit, she turned around and buried her crown into his tresses, her body shaking and the tears continued to fall. She did not mean to do it though he meant to hurt her, she sniffed and then continued to cry, I did not mean to kill him, he hurt me I did not want to go like that. She spoke in between tears and into his nape. Her body shook she was scared, she was a bad mare and bad creatures did not deserve to live or the deserved to live alone. She whimpered and did not move her crown from his nape, eventually she stopped crying but she still did not move she just stood there, taking his scent in and enjoying the closeness, she had not meant to do it only meant to hurt him too but she had changed sense then, she had never killed after that nor did she ever settle into a herd after that. She sighed and moved away from him back into her shelter in which, she curled up and looked away from him.

Danger was surprised when she turned around and tears had stained her beautiful face. He had taken a step before she came to him and her tears were falling on him. He nuzzled her lightly, listening to her words but not saying anything, letting the tears fall, letting her get it all out. He heard the word ‘hurt’ and felt a surge of anger as red peaked in his eyes before killing it. He did not know if she had done this before, nor did he care. He was glad that at least he could be here for her, even if he was not helping. He nibbled gently at her coat affectionately, letting her stay there, breathing deeply in her aroma. He closed his eyes for a second before feeling all of a sudden like he was alone. He opened his eyes and looked to see her moving away. He let out a whicker before moving closer to her, wanting to protect her from the rest of the world until she was back to herself. His voice was quiet as he spoke. Who hurt you? [/blockquote]

She stood and turned so she was facing him but lowered her frame back to the ground, I was part of my fathers herd until I turned a year I taught one of my friends a lesson because he had gone to far with me, when I was two I made friends with this stallion who seemed nice, he pushed me into letting him well ya and it hurt me, his name was Major but I don’t want to talk about it more, just know I have changed my ways I don’t do anything to hurt others badly maybe give them a nip to get them away from me so I don’t get hurt again. She looked up at him will you come lay with me? She spoke softly, there was more then enough room for him, she just wanted to be close to someone, she silently waited to see what he did.

He listened intently, and could feel the anger inside him wanting to explode out. But he kept calm for her sake. Fire burned deep within her soul and he wished to paw at the ground, to dig and dig and dig until he brought this stupid brute up and brought him back alive and then killed him again. His mind went over this, the stallion just a shadow, but he let it go. He could not think about that otherwise it would kill his rational decisions at the time. He did not need to be asked twice and walked behind her before lying beside her. I’m sorry about what happened to you. He said quietly. He made sure that his head was near hers and he nudged her tenderly. But that was in the past, and you’ve turned into a beautiful equine, both outwardly and inwardly, since then. This time his voice came out more in a whisper. And I promise you, Cherie, nobody will ever hurt you again. This time he let his head rest on her barrel, hoping he did not scare her. [/blockquote]

Her harks flicked to catch his words and then she turned her crown she it was facing him. She blew warm air upon his nose and felt him rest his head on her barrel, she did not mind it. It was comforting, she contently sighed, Gracias mi amor que necesito escuchar esas palabras. It slipped she had been taught Spanish by someone she had met before these lands, she also knew a little French but not much, I meant thank you my love I need to hear those words. She spoke softly to him, raising her crown she turned it and just reached the tip of his hark which she nibbled on softly. Resto mi amor B whispered into his hark, before putting her own crown on the ground and closing her orbs.

Danger nuzzled her again. His heart was soaring as high as the birds in the sky circling over them, their music floating down through the trees. The sun could be blocked out, but sweet glorious music could not. He did not rest but instead stayed alert. He left his cranium upon her body, never lifting it up, not wanting to make her stir. He was hoping no more nightmares would come into her dreams and drag back memories that were better left dead. The Percheron settled in, letting the quiet solitude of the forest surround them. Later he would let her explore. But right now he was enjoying his time with her, even if there were no words between them. Her presence was enough. All he wanted was for her to be happy. Leaves rustled near them and he tensed slightly, listening. But there were no signs of paws coming near so he relaxed. His auds were at work like there was no time to rest and his orbs shifted in different directions as the breeze blew past them. [/blockquote]

This time around her slumber was peacefully, when she awoke she could still feel that he was there, that he had not left her like she thought he would have. She raised her crown and nibbled at her chest, when she looked at him her forelock was covering her hazel orbs, she felt different around him. Her softer side showed when she was around him, he was one of the few that she allowed to see it, she touched his nose and then his cheek nuzzling it softly. Harks flicked catching the sound of something and then a lone howl way off in the distance, she shuttered after its cry ended. She knew he would not let anything happen to her but it still frightened her, she could not think of the right words to say to him, in the end she decided to wait and see what he said, it would also give her more time to think of how to word her feelings towards him.

His thoughts had been in and out throughout her slumber. Sometimes he daydreamed of the future, and somehow she was always popping in, like an angel from heaven with a sign. Other times he was alert, listening for anything that could even dare to harm either of them. Danger nudged her affectionately as she stirred. It had been tough for him to stay in the same place, lying like this. His stilts were cramping. But he didn’t care. He nibbled at the base of her neck. All of a sudden he was alert as he heard the howl, then felt the shudder running through B. He shot up and stood there, his muscles tense, ready for it if they came this way. But nothing moved, nothing stirred. It was as if time had stood still for them. He made his body relax and the adrenaline coursing through his lifelines evaporate before he looked upon the gorgeous femme laying near him. Good morning, love. He said huskily. [/blockquote]

She stood after he did and extended her front pillars and then her hind ones. She looked like a show horse but she was only stretching, she walked forward and shook. Tossing her crown to clear her forelock from her eyes, she turned back to him and pressed her maw into his nape, good morning to you too. She spoke softly, pressing her frame into his, B rested her crown upon his back before nibbling along his spine. She turned to look at him, I would love to see your lands if you would be willing to show them to me. She spoke softly, lowering her crown to itch a spot on her front pillar. B snorted and jumped as a bee landed upon her rump and gave her a swift yet painful sting. She turned and nipped at the spot itching roughly at it. Looking at him mid itch, then she went back to itching waiting for him to say something.

Danger watched as the pretty fae lifted herself up to almost his height again. He felt her maw and let out a little nicker, turning toward her to pull at her mane affectionately. And then he realized it. He had fallen. Fallen hard and didn’t even feel himself hit. He heard her words and looked around. This was pretty much it. He did not know what else to show her. There were no real special places except his cave. His beloved cave that was his and only his. Could he share it with someone else? Why, he was being mighty selfish! Here she had told him a secret, and he was being an ignorant toddler. He scolded himself. There is not much but what you see. There is only a spring beyond, toward the center. The field was nothing but brown weeds while the forest, although he could bet when autumn came it would be gorgeous, was nothing new. Many of these things were basic in this world and could be seen for miles from certain vantage points. By the way, my dear B, something you don’t know about me: My calling is Danger. With that he strode away, deeper into the forest. Only one glance behind him did he make sure she was following. [/blockquote]

She nodded, that’s fine im more found of begin in the trees and shadows. She spoke softly leaning against him. He spoke of his calling finally, thank you I have been wanting to know your calling. She smiled, now she had a name for the face, for her love. She was still looking for the right words to say to him. He began to walk away and she thought that was it but he turned back to see if she was following, she tilted her crown a bit confused but followed after him. Wanting to see where he was going to take her. She trotted up along side of him and then slowed to a walk, nudging his nape. Simply just waiting to see.
