Woebegone seemed at times to be inseperable from his sister, attached at the hip as it were. But they weren't physically attached, and as a result there was that occasion where the two would split up for a little alone time. It was never for too long, and they didn't drift too far- but out of earshot of each other most certainly. Woebegone and Queens had agreed a long time ago they wouldn't speak of what each other did while they were off alone. When they were seperate the things they did were private. Even these two siblings had secrets from each other. The blue roan brute lingered in this strange forest, walking along at a slow leasurely pace. His head was turned upwards and his grey eyes were darting from tree to tree, taking in the sights of this strange new world he'd found to explore. Blackened hooves cut into the dirt as he walked along a well worn path. To himself he hummed his own tune, making it up as he went along. The young man seemed downright cheery as he explored the forest.

Dum-dee-dum, dum-dee-dum, diddlydiddlydum… Thoughts? What were those? Words? A piece of vocabulary she had never heard before. The breeze nipped at her heels and Azure let out a little buck. Daggers landed back on the ground with a soft thud, and she giggled like a little flicka. No reason, really. Just felt like it. Mindless some days? Yes. Stupid? Not. The autumn air had gotten to her. No more of those hot sunny days where shade was all she craved. The time was here to be spritely. Pish posh, lazy was not in her word choice anymore. The blue roan glanced around, seeing if there was anyone there to watch her inactive thinking and obnoxious actions. Nope, not a soul. Neither a ghost nor hare peering at her incredulously, asking where in the world is the loony bin for this one. Amber eyes scanned the trees, almost wishing for one to be there. Daggers tore up the land as she dashed through the trees, zipping and sliding around them. Coming to a creek, she watched, almost fascinated as the water rushed by like the life she was leading. Oh jeez, now she was getting philosophical. Did she not promise herself that today would be a no-thinking day? The four year old thought so. Ah well, promises were meant to be broken.
(sorry that it's kinda all over the place...) [/blockquote]

Woe heard the trampling of Azure as she rushed by- heading off to places unseen and for intentions unknown. Now Woebegone didn't often worry about the living, and was much more interested in other things... but this time was different. He only caught her out of the corner of his grey eye and she was moving with such speed, but she wasn't racing off with the intensity of someone on a mission. This blue roan turned on his hooves and went off after her. He kept his pace a bit slower than hers, so he was just barely quick enough to keep up with the mare but didn't get so close that she'd notice him. Woebegone waited until she came to a standstill at the stream. The sound of water running in the background. His ears perked up slightly as he closed the gap between them. He nickered slightly to catch her attention. "I saw you race by... couldn't help but wonder where you were off to in such a rush." He said in a calm and cool tone, grey eyes narrowed slightly as they focused on her.
