He felt slightly content at being able to see her again. Though he discarded the fact once again that he had temporarily forgotten about her, but she didn't know that, right? Deep down he felt like a stranger, but he hadn't been away for long. So why did he feel like a stranger? Maybe it was because he always felt that way, no matter where he was. He felt like a stranger in his own house, typical. He casted a glance in her direction before he smiled "I've been the same as usual. What about you?" He asked, turning slightly to get a better look at her. "You haven't done anything daring have you?" He asked curiously. [/blockquote]

She shook her head and pretended to seal her lips and throw away the key, no she was not hiding anything. So she decided to speak, sticking her tongue out at him and lean back on her elbows, same old same old and no I have not done anything daring, so ha I can be good when I want to be. She stuck her tongue out again at him, just to make her point. She smirked, thinking of something, now if you wanted to do something daring right now go for it. She spoke and laid back on the couch, stretching her body out, the older she got the stiffer her body got, especially when she was recouping. Her body relaxed when she was done stretching, her legs were crossed, feet perched on his lap. So now what she wondered waiting.

He laughed for a few moments at her actions. "I'm sure you have thought of many things to do in your free time" He tilted his head slightly, a bit confused by her words. "I am not a very daring person. A bit too lazy for daredevilness" He spoke again laughing. He watched as she laid back on the couch. "If I was a daredevil, I'd be a superhero, like I always wanted to be" He joked as he smiled at her. [/blockquote]

No not at all, I cant think of anything except for when I can ride Jazzy again, I finished all the books I wanted to read, finished my photo albums, eh im out of options. She smiled and then laughed, anyone can be a daredevil if they tried hard enough but thats just not my cup of tea. She spoke and sat up, so she could lean against him, as he spoke she found herself laughing again, I can make you a cape if you want to be a superhero, you could jump off the fence and pretend to fly. She smirked and leaned up and kissed him, but then again you would only be a superhero for a moment or two and then you would just be some guy with a cape. She laughed, then sat on his lap, but you will always be my superhero she spoke softly waiting.

He shook his head slightly "My oh my, you must get bored very easily." Then he smiled again. "Oh I've had the taste of dirt in my mouth too many times. I don't think I would like the idea of flying" He joked before he kissed her on her cheek. "Just some guy with a cape huh? Guess I am pretty much an underdog" He wrapped his arms around her waist as she sat on his lap before speaking again. "Is that so? Though I don't remember you being the damsel in distress" He smiled slightly for a few moments. [/blockquote]

She laughed, well who says you will fall when you are flying? She asked and then smiled, but a cute underdog at that. Oh ya that was in my dream, sorry about that. She smirked and looked at him, at least you have not been bit by a turtle, she smiled. Something that everyone thought was harmless truly was not, or landed on a stick well I have not done that but my father did, she laughed. Whats the worse thing that has ever happened to you and the best thing that has ever happened to you? She spoke, I will tell you mine, getting bit by a snake and thinking I was going to die because I was alone and the best was falling in love with you. She smiled and waited.

He had to look at her again when he heard her speak. "You dream of me?" As an underdog? He shook his head slightly as his mind wondered off for a few moments but then he focused back on the subject again shortly after. Wow, bad luck much? He smiled slightly at her question. "Well the worse would have to be having a horse fall ontop of me and the best would have to be meeting you." He spoke grinning this time. It was completly backwards karma. Or at least thats what he thought. So apparently being crushed by a horse brought on good things in the end, how strange. [/blockquote]

She laughed and shook her head, of course I dream of you but not as an underdog. She smiled and listened to what he had to say, she nodded and then smiled. Well the horse one does not sound fun but the best one sounds like a good one. She smiled and kissed his neck softly, before looking at him again. Most embarrassing moment? Mine would have to be slipping and falling in front of all my dads buddies and taking the horse down with me. She did not know why she was asking him all these questions it was just something fun for them to answer, she kissed his neck again and then his cheek. Sorry, she spoke softly waiting.

Of course a lot of questions were being asked, though they were not harmful. More or less questions out of curiosity. "Well I guess its nice you dream of me" He smiled slightly once more before hearing her speak again. Indeed having a horse fall on you wasn't the nicest thing to have happen to you. Quite upsetting actually. He wasn't actually sure what his most embarassing moment was. He thought about the question for a few moments "You know, I don't think I've had any embarassing moments" Then he paused for a few moments remembering something. "Actually, I remember one embarassing moment. Back in high school when I was about 15, I had a girl announce she had dumped me right in front of the entire school." It more or less an irritating moment than embarassing. He shook his head when he heard her say sorry "Don't be sorry for asking questions. It's good to be curious" He spoke again then kissed her cheek. [/blockquote]

She smiled and nodded, I remember that, thats when I was dating dickhead, I dont ever like to remember his name, not after what he tried to do. She shuttered and looked at Jason, she knew him better then anyone and she knew he would not ask her what it was. She looked back to see Nala padding out from the office with fluffing, you better not have destroyed that chair she spoke to the dog, who sat and whined. Nala has become quite the pain, I cant have anything nice any more, like my white cowboy hat, thats no longer here and who knew a lamp could become a toy, she pointed to the endtable were a lamp once stood, then sighed. She looked at him, are we going to live a part once we are married? She asked softly, resting her head on his shoulder, it kind of seemed like it seeing they did now. She smiled softly, they had not even really talked about the wedding or anything of the sorts all she knew is she wanted it to be small. All I know is I want our wedding to be small, I dont like big elaborate things, just as long as my dad and sister are here I will be happy. She spoke and found herself yawning, she wrapped her arms around his neck and sighed, she closed her eyes waiting for him speak.

The only response he had to her first set of words was a slight shake of his head. He never really liked asking people questions that were known of his business. Curiosity wasn't one of his top priorites nowadays. He too noticed the dog walk in. "I'm not surprised" He spoke smiling slightly at the red canine. "Live apart?" He echoed before he spoke again "No....unless you want to live apart" The specific word wedding was a bit feared in his set of mind. Oh what had he gotten himself into? He wasn't going to mention that now he really wasn't up for getting married now, mainly because he was getting slightly nervous towards the thought. "Who would want a fancy wedding anyway? Isn't that for rich folk or something?" He asked curiously. [/blockquote]

I really should not be surprised but that was my favorite hat, she shook her head and looked at him, no I dont want to live apart. She stopped, maybe he was getting nervous, maybe he did not want to go threw with this after all, she sighed, yes those kinds of weddings are for rich people. She sighed and stood picking up her glass and bringing it to the kitchen dumping it in the sink. Jason I can tell your nervous you dont want to go threw with this, then lets not I dont want to make you do something you dont want to do. She spoke, it was a bit snippy but she did not mean for it to come out that way. She walked into the office and shook her head wheeling the chair out and then picking up all the fluffing. She put the fluffing in the trash, put her boots on and took the chair outside to the trash. She did not even go back inside, instead she went to her mare. Her phone rang and she picked it up, it was her doctor. Giving her some good news for once, she could start riding as long as her brace remained on, hell she did not care. She went into the barn, grabbed the mares bridle as she hung up with the doctor and slipped it on the mares face, hopping on she opened the pasture gate, did not bother to close it and wheeled her mare into action. The mare shot off squealing with delight to have her owner back. They seriously tore it up, she found a clearing and she easily worked on the mares reining training. Then she stopped in the center and patted her neck, girl we are going to Texas for a visit, I need to work some cows and see my father. She spoke patting the mares neck again, the mare whinnied and Alyssa took her phone out, calling her father, hey ya im going to be coming down to visit for a few weeks, Spook needs some cow training and Jazzy needs her touch up, no dad we did not brake up but I might have just said no to a wedding. Yes I think he does have cold feet, well I will see you in a week or so. They hung up and she tapped her mares shoulder with her boot, a call left the mare as she reared and landed taking off for home again.

Oh what had he said this time? Sometimes it felt like he was walking in a mine field when he was talking to that woman. But somehow he always dealt with it and didn't necessarily worry about it, but it was clear that sometimes it truly bothered him. He was never good at hiding things, and he never would be. He didn't know what he could say when he realized that she had left the house. Was she mad at him for what he had said? He could never tell. Though he didn't dwell on the subject for long, he wasn't going to let something like that get to him, at least not today. Moments later he got up from the couch and walked outside closing the door behind him. He soon stretched and yawned, this was all too much sometimes, but he didn't mind. At least he didn't completely mess up everything today. Though he felt like he needed to apologize. Was it truly bad for a person to be nervous? He was naturally a nervous person in a variety of situations. That was just how he was. Was he expected to change his ways? [/blockquote]

Whoa easy Jazzy, the mare tossed her head and sidestepped to avoid stepping on the snake, shh your ok beautiful. The horse flicked her ears and listened to her owners words as they skirted by the snake, thats it beautiful. She kept a firm hold on the mare until they were away from it, then she let the mare have her head and she took off flying home and sliding to a stop in front of the barn, tossing her head and prancing. The mare really needed some time in Texas, she never use to freak this bad with a snake before. The mare danced and played with the bit, Alyssa circled her round and round both ways till she finally settled, her golden hide dampened by sweat. Alyssa hopped off and took her into the barn, slipping her halter on and spraying her down, she dried her off and took her back into the pasture and shut the gate behind her, going back into the barn she hung the halter up and walked to Jason, sticking her hands in her back pocket, im sorry and I wanted to let you know im going back to Texas to visit my father, he said he would like it if you came down so he could talk to you. She spoke softly, her adrenaline still running from that snake, she shook her head and closed her eyes taking a deep breath, sorry there was a snake on me and Jazzy's ride, we are both still a little whatever after it, I messed everything up today, she spoke and then looked away from him brushing past him, to go into the house and cry was what she really felt like doing but she was not going to or so she thought. She kicked her boots off and went and collapsed on the couch, a sigh leaving her. What on earth had she done?

He had heard her words perfectly though he was still a bit crestfallen. He shook his head, quickly forgetting about it before he followed her into the house, closing the door behind him. Maybe he had done something before to upset her, although he really didn't know. He stayed by the door when he saw her on the couch. He felt as if he shouldn't bother her, but he really didn't know. He was still confused. "Alyssa, have I done something to upset you?" he asked. He wasn't quick to notice his mistakes so maybe there was a possibility he had done or said something out of line though he wasn't exactly sure. [/blockquote]
