Physical Description:
Tora is the tallest of the four Amano sons, and he very much enjoys that. It's easier to keep his brothers in line when he has the physical strength to back his words up. A powerful body with a powerful mind, Tora is easily the strongest of the brothers, as well. When it comes to breaking horses he's always the one you want doing the job. Though despite his masculinity he has a slight feminine charm just like the rest of his brothers. He's also the one with the most American appearance. His skin is fair, his eyes are light, and his hair is naturally a light brown, though he keeps it dyed black because he prefers it that way.
Personality:
Even though Tora is very much business-minded he does goof off quite a bit. He likes pranks except when they're aimed at him, and is not disinclined to return a prank played on him. He's strong of heart, and quiet sometimes, but he's a good guy. Just don't get on his bad side, for he has quite the temper when he's set off. Not a yeller, he has calm anger that makes you realize quickly that you've done something wrong.
History:
With both parents mixed between American and Japanese heritage, it's hard to tell just where the line is drawn. Both of his parents met while visiting Japan, though at the time they lived in two separate places in the country. They grew very close during their visit and did many things together, which included the act of baby-making. They'd used protection, though, so they thought nothing of it.
When both of them returned to America they promised to keep in touch, and thankfully they did. Four weeks after her return home, Tora's mother found out that she was pregnant. Instantly she knew who it had to be since she hadn't had sex with any other guy for well over a year. Panicked, she contacted him, and when he found out that he was the father of an unborn child he immediately made plans to move where she was, which was within the very town this roleplay is based in. (I haven't a clue where it is, so I'm saying that instead. XD; )
Seven and a half months later, on September 17th, Tora, the oldest of the Amano boys, was born and his parents married soon after. They named him with a fully Japanese name because of their love for the place.
Almost two years later, on June 24th, Takashi, the second son was born into the family, and his parents couldn't have been any happier that they had two adorable, sweet boys to raise and care for on their modest farm. What they didn't plan for was having any more. But it happened.
Little over a year later, on July 5th, there came Kazumasa, just as loved by his parents as the two before him were. And finally three years after that, on May 5th, Hiroto was born, the youngest of the four Amano boys. What a house full his parents now had!
Tora enjoyed growing up with three younger brothers, and working on a farm was his passion, though he was more for the business side than he was the hands-on portion of it. Of course, he did have his own animals--one horse, one dog, and three indoor cats--and he rode the trails and whatnot, helping out with the chores, but buying, selling, and general maintenance is what he does best.
That was why when he was given the new ranch he went right to work on it. Over the years he has upgraded his equipment countless times and makes sure the actual farming portion of his land is well kept for. He doesn't grow crops every year, but he does every two years so that the land will have plenty of time to heal and can always give a good crop.
