Physical Description:
Shou has been and always will be a heartbreaker. His looks are a mixture of American and Japanese. Tall, long-legged, with innocent, feminine features. Naturally dark brown hair and light, chocolate-colored eyes with an occasional set of colored contacts in. He wears clothes typical of someone in these parts, but it's obvious that he is very fashion conscious and tries to wear clothes that are both efficient and that look good. He knows his strong points are his eyes and his legs, so he amplifies them by what he wears.
Personality:
That almost-delicate appearance suits his gentle-natured personality. He's kind, almost to a fault, but he does not trust others easily. Letting him be himself around others is hard, but he tries. Everyday he's improving his skills a little, whether it's helping around his family's farm and chatting with the neighbors, or it's going out into town to sell animals. Most of the time his chatting companions, though, are his horses, the barn cats, or his dogs.
History:
With both parents mixed between American and Japanese heritage, it's hard to tell just where the line is drawn. Both of his parents met while visiting Japan, though at the time they lived in two separate places in the country. They grew very close during their visit and did many things together, which included the act of baby-making. They'd used protection, though, so they thought nothing of it.
When both of them returned to America they promised to keep in touch, and thankfully they did. Four weeks after her return home, Shou's mother found out that she was pregnant. Instantly she knew who it had to be since she hadn't had sex with any other guy for well over a year. Panicked, she contacted him, and when he found out that he was the father of an unborn child he immediately made plans to move where she was, which was within the very town this roleplay is based in. (I haven't a clue where it is, so I'm saying that instead. XD; )
Seven and a half months later, on September 17th, Shinji, the oldest of the Amano boys, was born and his parents married soon after. They named him with a fully Japanese name because of their love for the place.
Almost two years later, on June 24th, Takashi, the second son was born into the family, and his parents couldn't have been any happier that they had two adorable, sweet boys to raise and care for on their modest farm. What they didn't plan for was having any more. But it happened.
Little over a year later, on July 5th, there came Shou, just as loved by his parents as the two before him were. And finally three years after that, on May 5th, Hiroto was born, the youngest of the four Amano boys. What a house full his parents now had!
Shou and his brothers were raised by both parents lovingly and have lived in this place their entire life. Shou loves it, and wouldn't trade it for the world. He moved out of the house when he was nineteen years old and it was into a house on the other side of his parents' property. Him, his father, and his brothers had worked to rebuild the place for a long while, and when it was given to the eldest son, the other three sons moved in with him, and together they run the place.
There he has of his own, two horses, a mare and a gelding, two barn cats, and three dogs, and he works on his the ranch to help generate an income. Since his family owns the home, his only expenses is food and entertainment, and of course things to spoil his pets with. Also, for money, he breeds his two border collie females and sells the puppies. Each female only breeds once every two years, so he alternates which is bred per year. Like, Collie #1 was bred in 2009, so she won't be bred again until 2011. However, Collie #2 was bred in 2008, so she will be bred again this year.
