Just a Bud, please. He said as he sat down on a bar stool. It was pretty quiet here, Richard observed. He drummed his fingers on the counter, looking around at the other patrons. It was his first night here, and he did not feel like staying in his motel room. He needed to find a job. He needed to get back on a horse. A half smile lingered on his face as he turned around, leaning against the counter as he watched as a couple of people played pool. The shorter guy definitely had the other beat. He rubbed at his stubble. He really needed to shave tomorrow morning before he started going around to try and find a job at one of these ranches or stables here, so he can work with horses. Since Stewie died, he did not really want to be around horses. But now, his heart was pining for the smell of them, the touch, the feel of a horse underneath him. It was such a big part of his life, and he had taken it out completely. It was his addiction. The bud that he was getting? Eh, it was just something to drink. But horses, to him, were a horrible addiction that was beating at the inside of his skull, that his blood was going crazy for, his heart was beating for. He knew he needed it again, he knew that was what Stewie wanted for him. He grabbed the beer and held it in his hand. Something to do, really. He sighed. He loved the little town life. He could hear gossip being spread by somebody about someone else, and he laughed inwardly. This was definitely the life. He knew he chose the right town, he just hoped it would like him just as much as he liked it. His smoky gray eyes looked around. He was looking for some socializing in his life, maybe someone to talk to for the night. Maybe someone who could point him in the right direction. Who knew what would happen, every minute held a moment, every hour held a memory, and every day held a surprise. One just had to wait for it to come around. [/blockquote]

Blonde hair with Brown streaks curls bonced around the young girls face as she walked into the Tavern. Blue Orbs looked around the Tavern as not as many people was going to be in here until late. Taylor Joe is what people call her and well she loved that name. Long legs had carried her across the floor to behind the bar. She worked in part-time as a bartender something Taylor didn't really like to do, but it was the only she could earn some good money to buy a good horse. Taylor looked around and went to the owner." Sorry, I'm late. I had a few problems."Taylor really didn't have alot of problem's she just had a couple things she wanted to do like go find a job that worked with animals instead of a bar full of drunks. Taylor listen to the owner get mad at her for being late." Like I said I'm Sorry" She was never late to her job, but really she wanted to get a new job so she could atleast save up more money for a horse. Taylor's blue eye's eyed a guy at the bar so she walked over to."Where you from? Taylor asked. She wasn't a nosey person, but this guy looked pretty new around here so she had to ask. Taylor was new aswell, but she had been her for about 4weeks and she kind of new people and everything so it wasn't a very big problem. Taylor waited to see what he had to say.

Yup, he had guessed it correctly, the little guy took the big guy’s money. Haha, the underdog wins again. He heard voices behind him, and he looked, noticing a man and lady talking before dismissing it. He was not about to be like a nosy neighbor and listen in so he could spread the gossip to the clerk at the motel and get things started. But then the voice came from closer behind him. It sounded like a question, posed to him. Setting his beer on the counter, he turned his full attention on her. She was pretty, he would admit, and his gray eyes took it in, but he also took in the not-so-happy owner behind her. Owners, eh. The only thing good about ones like that were they signed the paychecks that kept people working. But hey, he needed employees, and he probably had a reason why he was so angry. Maybe had a hot date with a hooker in his bedroom. And this pretty bartender lady was probably just looking for a big tip so figured she would make nice with the customers. WHOA WHOA WHOA where in the world was all this negativity coming from? He shook his head absently, removing that thought from his head. That was wrong to think. He needed to stay positive. The motel, you? He asked, a little smile on his face. And seeing as we’re getting to know each other on a more personal level, I’m Rich. He said, extending his hand to shake hers. He was jesting about the personal level of course, just trying to say more than four syllables. [/blockquote]

Taylor heard the gossip around the room and rolled her eye's. Everyone in this town seemed to gossip, but that's what you get for living in such a small town. Taylor grabed a round of drinks that the owner told her to take to the pool table. She placed then ontop of her hand and walked over there and placed it on her drink. The little guy smiled and her and she smiled." Winning big bucks tonight Earl?" She asked him with a smile. Earl smiled and looked at her."Yeah, Maybe later on tonight we can get together." Taylor glared at him, but knew he was just joking."Oh Earl. You know...I don't think that's gonna happen." She put an around him.The big guy seemed to laugh at Earl. Taylor shook her head and walked back. Until she got stopped by a couple of people to get an order of drinks." Yep." She said with a smile on her face. Taylor's smile could usely lighten up everyone around here. It sure did Earl though alot. He has always been asking Taylor out for a night out, but she always keep putting him down. Taylor went to behind to the conter and looked at him. She asked him a question before she left and she got the anser.' The Sale Barn." Taylor was feeling up drinks and smiled at him." Taylor Joe, but call me Taylor" She smiled and whipped her hand on a rag before shakeing his hand. Taylor moved her hair away from her face and behind her ears. She took the drinks to the table and went back to the counter and smiled and leaned onto the table." So whats your story?" She gave him a grin. Everyone who walked through these doors usely had some big storys. So she wonder if he had a story and if he asked for her story she would tell him. She was never a person who kept secerts from people who wanted to know their life story.

Rich watched as she went around, taking orders. She was good at her job, and it did not seem right that the owner was angry over her being late. Truth be told, she was probably the cutest worker that he had and that probably brought in some good revenue, from a business aspect. His gaze was diverted by a couple arguing, the guy slurring his words and all he caught was “girl”, “hit” and “vomit” and mentally he quickly exited from the conversation and made sure to stay out of the man’s way as he charged for the bathroom. His girlfriend was none too pleased and he rolled his eyes. Some guys needed to learn their limits. Wow, he had a lot to gripe about tonight. He pushed it away and swung back around, away from the growing crowd. He chuckled at her reply and then a look of ponder crossed his face. His life story? He really didn’t have one. Loving parents, wonderful horse. Just needed a change of scenery. No juicy gossip or harrowing tale from the new guy. What about you? He asked, taking a sip from his beer. Here he could not tune everyone out seeing as he had to watch out for vomit and gossip that was flying around the room. But he gave her as much of his attention as he could. He was glad to have a pleasant person to talk to like Taylor. He glanced around at the scenery for once, noticing how it was rustic and not as modern as a lot of those clubs that were around Atlanta. It was very nice, very old timey and so nice. [/blockquote]

Taylor smiled at him. This guy seemed to be open about alot of things which Taylor seemed to like. Taylor hated this job and it was cause of drunkin guys think they could do anything they wanted to do when they got here. Taylor watched as the guy rushed to the bathroom and saw him walk out. Taylor turned around to grab another round of drinks when the guy from the bathroom walked back to his table. Taylor wasn't trying to be nosiy, but got a couple of the words."missed", "nasty", and "girl". Did that pissed Taylor off. She set the drinks down and walked to the bathroom and he was right. He sure did miss and it was nasty, but Taylor wasn't going to be picking it up. She grabed the bathroom cleaning supplies and walked over to the drunk and set them on the table." You make the mess you clean it." She looked at him. The owner walked over and grabed Taylor." No I'm not going to clean up after this drunk or any drunk. Its his fault for not knowing his limit." She told the owner and stepped back. He wasn't about to get in her way,but as he left he was smiling. That was one reason he liked Taylor. Taylor looked back at the drunk and he began to give her sassy."It's your job." Taylor laughed and the quit. This man was a big man, but it didn't stop her." No sir it ain't."She grabbed him by the shirt and started to pull him to the bathroom until the girlfriend to give her some trouble's." You better sit down and shut up, or you can help him out." She told her and the girlfriend shut up and sat back down. The drunk slurred his words but all Taylor said was " I know buddy... Just clean it up and you can go back to have more drinks." Taylor set the stuff down beside him and let him go and stood there for a minute and watched him until she saw him cleaning. Taylor turned around and walked back over to the counter and grabed the drinks and took them to a table and came back."Stupid Drunks."She told Rich. Taylor stood there listening to Rich seemed like he had a normal life like she had. She stood there thinking about what to tell him." Loving Parents, Lots of older brothers, Working for a Ranch, Had a Horse, Now just travel to see where I fit in." She smiled at him . Taylor watched as teh drunk came back from the bathroom with the cleaning supplies." Thank you." She had a sweet smile and put the things behind the bar. Taylor looked at rich and wasn't what to say next. So she waited for him to ask her a question."

Rich watched as Taylor walked around and took care of the table. He chuckled at the squabble that Taylor started by telling the man to clean up. Well, it was probably better that way anyway, maybe next time they would think. He turned back around and sighed, taking another sip of his beer. His gray eyes proceeded to watch as more and more customers came in and took seats around him at the bar, some in large groups and others single, like he was. Maybe not by choice, but they were. Finally, they had a chance to talk once again, but he knew not for long. Don’t you ever get tired of working here? It’s gotta be horrible, all these drunks, and of course, you’re cute, which does not make it any easier in a setting like this. He glanced around at all the guys in all different forms of drunkenness. There were some who still had some humility left in them, some who were just complete goners and he figured that their buddies might just want to roll them out of here if they did have a girl at home before something stupid does happen. There were others that were not completely sloshed but were well on their way to doing that. Although, it probably does give you some big tips. He said, looking back at her. [/blockquote]

Taylor sighedd alittle. She really just wanted to sit down and have a beer herself, but her shift wasn't over in a couple hours. She watched as more people came in and she just smiled and waved at a couple how always come's in so she knew who they was. Taylor whipped her hands on her jeans and looked at Rich. Taylor blushed when he told her she was cute. She heard it from alot of guys from the bar,but that was different they was all drunk off their butts just trying to get laid. Rich was a real gentlemen and knew how to talk to a lady really. Taylor smiled and rolled her eye's." You have no clue how I would love to quit this job,but it pays alright and the tips are pretty big when you treat them good." She winked at him. The only thing she had to go was talk to sweet to most drunks and they would leave some big tips. Thats was probley one reason she was here right now cause of the money and she needed money to pay a couple bills and since she just bought a horse she would have to find a place for him and they not get mad how wild he is. Taylor looked at him and sighed one more time." It really makes me mad when they think they can just me. That sends me high on my rocket. I have been know to throught people at the door." She giggled. Taylor wasn't that big of a person or seemed to be a strong person, but when you lived with four older brother's you had to fend for yourself unless your oldest brother saved you. Taylor smiled at her taughts. She really did miss them and knew they won't be happy if they walked in and saw Taylor getting touched. Taylor shook her head and knew they would never be here they all had family's and was working on the ranch. Taylor looked up to see a couple of people leaving. She walked over grabed the emepty beer bottles and grabed the $10 tip. Taylor walked back to the bar and threw the empty bottles away. She walked back over to a couple of tables and took their order and went back to the bar to grab everyone's order. Taylor walked back over and grabed a couple more drinks for the guy's at the bar. Taylor looked at rich and frowned she was already tired alot of people came in when she worked which at the end of the night she was about beat." When you need another Rich just tell me." She smiled at him and winked at the same time. Taylor was a friendly person and anyone around here could tell.
