Well ladies and gents, we have a real treat for you today...
The announcer exploded overhead as the next horse came in the arena. Saddle was in place and so was the bridle, seeing as these were going with the horse. Amber eyes strode carelessly over the audience as he looked on, jogging next to the handler, muscles showing from under his black coat, which was shining from the care of his owners making sure he looked fit to proceed within the ring. His mane and tail were all brushed out with no tangles, and they bounced softly against his neck as it moved with the beat of his gait.
Kill 'em with Kindness, also known as Debonair. Five year old Thoroughbred stallion, look at that conformation won't he be something in the ring. Maybe prospective stud?
First loop in the arena and around again they went, this time the handler moving up to a jog, and Debonair following, this time at a trot. Legs were brought up steadily, and there was no tension. His movements were smooth, as if he did this sort of thing everyday. Eyes roved around, wondering who would be the fish to his line today. Finally the handler brought him to a stop in the middle of the ring, moving him into the best position possible, his legs all matching up and everything, to show off his conformation.
No siree, I don't think you could find a better horse today. Don't even jump at my voice. What do we say, 3000 starting bid? Gonna make someone a great eventer soon.
