History: Finch's mother was a wild mustang, who was bred by a paint stallion who got lose. He too became wild, but he was a champion showmanship horse. Finch was born on a nice spring day. She was named 'Finch' because the first thing her mother saw after her birth was a small yellow and black bird, a finch. She grew up in a group of mostly colts, so she had to learn to stand her ground. She would always do so, but if it came to a fight, she would rather talk it out then resort to violence. She grew up in this herd.

Her mother died when she was five, which is hard on a horse when you have grown up with your mother. A colt, who became the lead stallion of her herd, forcebred her, and when she was six she gave birth to a dark filly named Raven. Finch and Raven left the herd and trekked out on there own.
