Even when Jacqui was young, she had the body type of an equestrian: compact, with slightly longer legs and a tendency toward leanness. In high school, she was the one who could eat anything and burn it off just by blinking, but her muscles are strong. Jacqui sports brown hair, cut to reach her upper back when left free. But, because it's wavy, when pulled straight it can go down to mid-back. Her eyes are blue, something she's inherited from her father. Jacqui can most often be seen wearing jeans, a t-shirt, and boots, since if she's not at the barn, she's going there or just left.
Considering her history, Jacqui could have turned out much different than she did: she could be a snobby trust-fund daughter or someone made crazy by constant movement. Somehow, she avoided trouble and made it through. Jacqui is basically a nice person, although she's unwilling to tolerate anything she feels is wrong. She's a good teacher, and doesn't like to stop trying until it's finished. Jacqui counts very strongly on first impressions, so if the first thing she sees is bad, it will always be bad, no matter the reason.
Jacqui was born to a very well-off family; her father inherited quite a bit of money and had a certain knack with the stock market. Her mother's job wasn't quite as glamorous, but her role as a DEA agent made constant cross-country moves necessary. When she was four, Jacqui began riding lessons at the nearest barn, and just never stopped, no matter where the family moved. When she was eighteen, she went to college with the first horse she ever owned, a Thoroughbred gelding called Epstein Barr. Sadly, her graduation "present" was watching him succumb to colic. With no horse, Jacqui got herself a job in Virginia as a junior trainer. She was very good at what she did, and was offered a prestigious position as head trainer at the age of twenty-four. Sadly, less than a year after she began, the owners of the barn encountered financial troubles, and so Jacqui moved here with her horses.
RELATIONSHIPS

Stephanie Grewell - Well, she's my boss, so I guess I can't hate her too much. But she's annoying to say the least. Doesn't seem to care about her employees or horses, and is pretty irresponsible in my opinion.
Ethan Brewer - I've only met him once or twice, and he seemed nice enough... until he started flirting with everything that moved. He's attractive, but I wouldn't get into a long-term relationship with him. His type is always unfaithful. I don't think it'll change, either. Good luck to him is this town.

Surpriseisonourside - I got this brute from a guy who couldn't do dressage with him. He's an ex-racehorse, still has that "I'm going to run" look about him sometimes. We're doing eventing right now, and pretty well, too.
Nelson's Victory - Freaking mare. Sometimes I can't stand her, but once she gets in the ring... good luck beating her. I've watched her go, and it's amazing what the mare who was bucking and kicking a minute ago can do.
