General
1) R-E-S-P-E-C-T everyone.
2) Life happens. All we ask is that you are active to the best of your abilities. If you know you are going to be away for an extended amount of time, please post it in the away board.
3) Have an issue? PM an admin. Have a question, comment or concern, post so in the correct board so that anyone can answer!
4) Please post at least five (5) sentences per post. A little less here and there is fine. This site is for beginners to advanced roleplayers.
5) No Powerplaying or Godmodeling. If you have any questions as to what this is, just ask.
7) Each month a random surprise and disaster will occur. They will happen to either, a stable, horse, human, or animal.
8) No mystical colors.
9) There are no powers.
10) Keep an open mind. Lets try to keep characters diverse. Characters can be any age.
11) You DO NOT have to wait to be accepted.
12) Please be thirteen or older when you join.
13) When it comes to explicit material, please not too much. Please try to keep it clean.
14) Every month there will be an activity check. Please post to this otherwise you will be deleted.
15) Please no chatspeak.
15) Please do not bump threads without consulting a staff member first so that other people have a chance to get replies.

Okay, so for images, there are only two sites at the moment where you can use pictures AS LONG AS you follow procedures/rules.
Flickr: When using Flickr photos, go the advanced search and make sure to click on both creative commons things because these are allowed to be used commercially and be adapted upon - Arzu

Personally, I use DeviantArt all the time. They have an entire sub heading of stock images, and if you search even just Dapple Grey Horse or something, if it's stock, people put in a comment that it is stock, just credit them or something, or have stock rules on their main page. They're pretty good about it. I have a DeviantArt page, and it's free, so you can sign up, and when you use people's images, they like to see the work, and you can tell them where it's used and ask permission to use it. It works well as long as you follow the rules.
Character Creation
For character creation, just look in the boards! Remember, once you post a profile you can go right ahead and start roleplaying!
However when it comes to creating champions and such please check with the staff because we do not want too many around.
Also, when creating characters, please post every character you create in a thread of its own. It makes it easier to take a head count and know how many characters there are.
Money
At this moment, there is no money system.
Humans
1) Please take care of any and all horses that you have. As such, only 10 horses per character. Horses brought into the game and foals born into the game do not count.
2) Relationships do and can occur.
3) If any of your horses are neglected or abused, they can be taken away. Neglected in out of character means that the roleplayer of the horse complains to a staff member about the owner being inactive, the horse can be transferred to the rescue. In character, it means any horrific thing that can happen that is found out. The horse can be transferred to the rescue then too.
4) Although we do not watch money, your human characters should have jobs in order to take care of their lives and their horses.
Stables
1) If you would like a stable, just PM Nevvy with the name, description and any subboards. Once all stables are gone, however, no more will be added until more members join.
2) You may create any rules, schedules, jobs or anything else that you think will make your stable unique.
3) If the stable is inactive for a total of THREE WEEKS, the stable will go back up for someone else to take.
Buying and Selling Horses
1) When it comes to buying horses, people can just post the horse's stats and then see if someone wants to buy. For example:
Horse Information
Price: 1000
The Buyer: I will purchase this horse for 1000.
However, if you would like to roleplay it out, that is perfectly fine too!
Horses
1) A horse does not have any choice in who buys them.
2) Horses can talk with each other, but they cannot talk with humans.
3) Fights do occur if different genders get mixed into the pastures. Or if stallions are put in the same pasture too.
4) Stallions are not allowed in the same pasture/paddock with mares. However, mistakes do happen.
5) Horses cannot breed until the age of two.
7) Twins are very rare, and will only be given as a surprise unless it is in a plot and is accepted by Nevvy.
8) A staff member will choose the foal’s gender and if it is healthy, unhealthy or a stillborn.
9) For the most part, mares do not have a choice who they are bred to.
10) 3 years for a filly she becomes a mare, 2 years a colt becomes a stallion or gelding.
Time
1) One month is one season.
2) A female is pregnant for at least three days, no more than four months. Please post stats three days after conception and baby stats will be given as soon as possible.
3) A foal is grown at age 2. A kid is grown at age 18.
Wild Horses
1) Only stallions can claim lands and mares. When claiming a land, post there with a claiming post and under it the description you want of the lands.
2) Same rules apply with wild horses as with tame horses on breeding and birthing.
3) Only one herd per person.
4) Horses can be caught in the lands that state “Capturing can occur here”
5) Fights can happen for land, mares, and just plain fighting. When a fight occurs, please put down how many posts each player gets and any other rules that the judge may want to know.
6) Stealing can occur, just post a riddle in Riddle River that includes AT LEAST three clues as to the equine you are trying to steal.
7) Raids can occur. For those who may not know, raids are when a herd of horses goes into another land and tries to forcefully take the other horses. They cannot try to seize the land unless they do not have any.
8) If mares are found in the breeding ground alone, they can be forcebred. Just get the permission of the player first.
