Time to get back in the game(Stella)

The setting sun, set a soft pink glow to her skin. Her shoes dangled on one finger as she walked the shore line, for an autumn evening it was nice, warm and enjoyable. Sunglasses sat atop her nose, brown hair sweeping down both shoulders in waves. Her lips were glossed, fingernails painted pink to match. Dark eyes were masked slightly by her shades, wind played with her hair slightly as she head up to a rock. She sat down and crossed her legs, staring out over the water, she leaned back slightly and tipped her face to the setting sun, she liked the fact that there was no one here, that it was just her. She had her fun her first night here, now it was time to get back into the game called love. She was ready to settle down with the right person. She looked down, so why was such a thing so hard to do? it was an easy answer, the right guy did not exist he was simply some guy in her mind, every time she thought she found the one he turned out to be a big jerk. She sighed and tipped her face back to the setting sun, what was she going to do with herself?

But Johnathan had no idea if he was ready for that. He had just started his life, moved, got a ranch, and had finally got Hunter under control, well as much as that horse would listen. Now the cowboy was walking down what he thought was a deserted beach, his flip-flops dangling in his hands. His shirt was a muscle top and white, his shorts where a flowery beach, red of course. He sighed and looked up for once, the beach was calm as he could see though a girl sat on a rock, John though he had been alone, he waved and called out, ''Hello there miss''.

Has she deep in thought a handsome stranger appeared and made her jump when he spoke, she smiled and gave him a friendly wave, hello she spoke before setting her shoes down and sliding of the rock. She walked over to him, im Selena and you might be? She asked softly, it was not in her nature to scream out or speak really loud, I don’t think I have seen you around are you new to town? Selena asked him, she yawned and dug her barefoot into the sand, barring it and then pulling it out and shaking it off. She stuck her hands in her back pocket and looked up at him, she was normally not this shy around guys it came easy to her to flirt but there was something different about this guy that made her this way, she was confused. She looked away and back at the rock she had been sitting on moments ago, if you would like you can join me. She smiled and turned and walked back to the rock and sat down, waiting to see what he decided.

He watched the girl slide of the rock, she seemed so perfect, beautiful even, John stood straight hopping to seem nice, friendly, ''Lovely name , i am Johnathan, though i prefer John''. He ran his hand threw his short hair wondering why such a lovely, no beautiful woman would be doing here all by her self, it must be lonely. ''Yes i am new, been here no longer than a week. Just getting my self settled. How about you?''. John watched the girl yawn, it was cute, he just had to laugh, though it was no more than a whisper,he could see her hands reaching in to her back pocket, he was getting hot, but taking your shirt of in front of a girl you barely knew seemed rude, especially when she was wearing pants, it would look like you just wanted to show of your abs, which he did not. Johnathan pecked over to the rock as she did, ''Of course, what do you do out here anyways''. He smiled back, a crooked grin, and followed her, he sat down to her right, hopping this was okay, the beach was a nice place and John hopped he would get to know some people, maybe this Selena. ''Beautiful beach''.

Well then its nice to meet you John, she spoke kindly. She looked up at him, im fairly new been her two or so weeks, it’s a nice little town, I got four horses now, the mare I had brought with me foaled and the mare I bought foaled, so it’s a little crazy at my place right now. Selena laughed, I need to get away when I am here I just relax and watch the sun set. She smiled it was all right if he next to her, She tipped her face back up to the sun. Her thoughts scattered in a million different ways. Yes it is a very beautiful beach I enjoy it a lot, especially the sun sets like I said before. Selena smiled and took her sunglasses off and looked at him for really the first time, he was quite handsome. Her dark eyes looked down before looking back up at him, so what are you doing here? And how do you like the town so far? She sat back, accidentally bumping him im sorry I did not mean to bump you. She looked away shyly, she was never never never like this, normally it was no problem to turn on the charm and get into bed with some random stranger but he was different, what was she feeling towards him?

Though he turned his face to her eye quickly when he heard she had four horses, and two where just born, ''Wow, that must be a lot of work, i only have one Stallion and he brings me more trouble than a new born baby must''. He laughed lightly but shook his head, Hunter, his Gypsy Vanner was a big flirt and show of, it was hard to keep that horse calm. John liked Selena's voice, it was sweet and caring, like the flower, rose, he looked at her talk, the beach is a perfect place to get away, no one is here to distract you and is is just plan relaxing, ''Juts perfect i would say''. But Johnathan almost fainted as she took of her sunglasses, she looked like a Greek goddess, her beauty was great. He shook his head trying to focus, ''Yes, umm, I am here to start my own life, get a job, maybe have a family'', John blushed remembering the words his mother had told him. A girl is like a treasure, all ways treat her that way. But as her warm skin touched his he felt a tingling sensation,it was warm there, he smiled trying trying t make it seem normal, ''Nah its fine. How is your family, what are you doing up here in this town?''.

She smiled, it is a handful but not as much as a stallion even though both of them together are like the dynamic duo. She laughed and yawned again, she nodded and then closed her eyes for a brief moment before opening them, sounds like a wonderful plan I want to start a family and im retired from my job, I use to be a professional singer retired just before I came here. She smiled, so I just want to be a stay at home mom. She looked at him and then looked away, my family well my mom is still alive my father just passed away, I have a large family with five brothers and the eldest took over the ranch so I left after my father passed away, I wanted to start fresh I had a bad brake up soon after but im over it I just want to get on and start dating again, he was a complete ass any way. She turned and looked at him, she reached over and took his hand flipping it over, you have a long life line, she giggled and your marriage line is long along with your health line, your fate/ career line is good. She smiled and traced her finger over each line that she spoke of. Then she just held his hand, does this bother you? she asked softly, scooting closer to him and waiting.

He was shocked when that came out of his mouth though retiring seemed crazy to him for such a young woman. He listened though, her life was different then his but a lot alike, he looked at her and at the sun, back and forth, they both had such beauty. ''I am sorry for your father Selena. Though i lived a lot like you. A farm, two older sister, and the oldest is in the farm now. My parents live in a small apartment back home''. He smiled at her, his face sweetly looking at her beauty, he wished he had so luck as her, to have so many horses, and to be so lucky to have ever be famous, but he did not care. John looked as she moved her hand reaching for his, he took a deep breath in having no idea what she was doing, he was confused,Why would a girl who looks like that, and is so sweet ever like a guy like me?. He shook his head slightly and felt as her finger glided across his palm, it felt nice, warm where she left a trail of fire, his hand tingling.''Wow i never knew people still could memorize and know this''. John never knew about this really, he had heard of people that could tell your future, how long you would live and etc just by the lines on the palm of your hand, and apparently it was true, though it felt better than amazed him. Johnathan smiled at the girl trying to hide how much he truly liked this.''Of course i dont mind, its a sweet gesture''. He looked down at their hands, they fit together so perfectly he just had to smile.''So you want to be a mom?''.

She smiled, thank you but being famous is not what every one thinks it is, it’s a lot more difficult, you have to sing and write what people will like not what you want and they boss you around and take you away from your family that’s not what I wanted and your family does sound a lot like mine in its ways. She laughed and then leaned on his shoulder, its not that hard really I just use to do it to my friends when I was younger we had so much learning it. Selena sat up and shrugged, im glad it dose not bother you because it does not bother me one bit. She leaned against him again, yes I want to be a mom, its just something I have always wanted, I want to be just like my parents and have a large family some day, I like the fact of growing old with someone it’s a nice fact. Just as much as having a farm for my family to be on, when were I can have a garden and many more animals. She laughed, it is all sad but true. She looked up at him and then turned so she was facing him, her hand touched his cheek lightly before she took it softly in her hands and kissed him, I hope you know that I like you and I hope that let you know she spoke softly sitting back and taking his hand again, she blushed slightly but she really did not mind what she had done, she just wanted to show him.

He now understood where her palm reading had come and it made sense, 'It must have been fun, friends, child hood..'', he sighed leaning his head back on her's, the warmth coming from her side reaching to his heart, John was happy, and he had just been in town for a week!. He listened to her story, closing his eyes, it seemed like a perfect fantasy, it was true even John could see it. A grey haired men sat on the porch, himself, Selena at his side, long grey hair and all, grandchildren ran around the front yard, they where pertly happy with their farm. He nodded lightly not to disrupt her, ''I can just picture it, me with grey hair, my grandchildren. I have always wanted to be a granddaddy too''. He looked at her , as she turned, her hand warm and soft on his cheek, he smiled, having no idea what will happen, next thing he knew, John was being kissed, his lips burned of pleasure, he wanted more, he liked this girl a lot.''I like you too, more than you think''. He held her hand thigh, playing with her fingers, he could tell she was blushing, it was a perfect day, ''You are the most beautiful thing out here you know that right?''.

Selena looked at him, well they can have at because im done with it. She smiled and sighed contently, it was fun but the fun sort of stopped when my brothers started liking my friends and so forth. She laughed and rested on him again, being a grandmother later on sounds like a wonderful idea, seeing them run around. She laughed but im still young and need to have children before grandchildren come around. She looked up at him, more then I think? Just how much do you like me? She laughed and blushed again, no I did not know I was the most beautiful thing here. Selena smiled and sat on his lap, pushing him down she kissed him softly again, she looked at him and sat back down on the rock resting her head on his chest, she sighed contently again, hearing his heart against his chest, it was like she had always herd it, to her it was much like them being reunited after sometime but in truth they had been mere strangers and now look. She smiled again, the blush color never leaving her cheeks, he made her like this, he also made her want more. She closed her eyes and waited.

What fun!'', He laughed, he had so many dreams for the future, children and a wife begin one of them, but he had just moved her and Selena was one of the first town people he had met. ''Well, Your sweet, smart, and beautiful, what more can a guy as for. Though what i see is us sitting on our porch, children, and grandchildren running around, a huge farm..''He trailed of thinking of how crazy he must sound. He smiled as she came up on to his lap, his body feeling warm, the kiss that came with it made im feel full, ''Yes the mot beautiful thing in my life must i add''. As she sat back down on the rock, her head leaned down on his chest, making his heart beat faster, but he was full again. He pulled her close, John's arms rapped delicately around her waist, he wished he could stay like this for ever.

Selena laughed, I cant say I like all of them, but I learned to hold my own with them, yes dates but the two oldest ones are engaged to my friends. She looked up at him, she did like her brothers its just that he middle brother and her eldest brother knew how to piss her off to no return. She sighed and listened to him, children running around, teaching them how to ride, letting them play with the animals it would be so much fun I would enjoy it! She laughed and looked up at him, Selena smiled and then blushed, thanks, I see us together on a porch, children and grandchildren. She smiled feeling his arms around her waist, she was still looking up at him. This day could not get any better, well it could but hey. Selena smiled, you’re very sweet. She sat up and turned around to kiss him again, she loved the feel of his lips on hers. Selena looked into his eyes, her hand resting on his chest, John would you come and stay at my house tonight? She kissed him softly and waited.

He sighed though, John could not even responded, his mouth was turned down in a frown, his hug tighter than it should be, like he needed to protect his girl. Her smile made his day, it was glowing, it was beauty that radiated of her, he had to smile back, ''It would be perfect with a perfect gorgeous girl''. John looked at her and winked though it was probably obvious what he meant, it was sure to make her laugh. He felt her move then and let his arms slip to a more comfortable position on her back, she kissed him and he kissed her back hard, more like passion, he loved the way she kissed him, it was like loved, he never wanted to let go, stop. but he did, and her question surprised him, but they where not gonna do anything bad right? they where merely strangers with the same dreams, hopes? he was lost but nodded, ''Yes of course, your house sounds lovely, why dont you lead the way''.John was scared but he had to do the unknown.

She sat up and grabbed her shoes, letting her feet touch the cool sand, she took his hand and pulled him up, she led him down the beach to her car, shades tucked into her shoe so they would not fall out. Her feet hit the hot tar and she took her shades out and slipped them on to her face and her shoes on to her feet, she got into her truck and started it, waiting for him to get into his. Her house was not that far from her, she drove down the road thinking about the days events, as they pulled into the driveway all was peaceful. She parked her truck and got out shutting and locking it behind her. She went up to the house and walked in, shutting the door behind them, she took her shoes off and held them in her hand, well this is it, she smiled and walked upstairs and set her shoes in her walk in closet going back downstairs she took his hands in hers and waited.
