Elliana smiled. She was glad that she had got a job so quickly. No problem there. But as she led Pandora out to the corrals she couldn't help thinking; Would heidi get here alright? I think she will. I hope she will. Elli always got nervous when transporting Heidi. For if anything happened to heidi.. She forced herself not to think that way. She got in the corral and closed the gate behind them. She took off the fillies halter and moved to the center of the ring and sat down. The filly would come to her with time. And that was when elliana knew the filly trusted her. That was when the training would begin.

I trotted eagerly next to this new human and tossed my small head I wanted to get away from her! She was not Sammie. I shook my tiny crown again and soon we were in this giant round thing as soon as she took my halter off I bolted around and around until I could no more, I stopped my tiny side heaving trying to get the air my lungs were screaming for, I was watching the human she was weird as soon as she had taken my halter off she sat down in the middle of this giant round thing and watched me, I flicked my ears in a puzzled manor after all that I was hungry but I would have to wait another hour before I got my bottle. Anyway back to this strange behavior I took a tiny step toward her and then another and one more till I was right there next to her, I nudged her face and I could feel her breath so at least I knew she was not dead, I tilted my head to the left and then the right, then I thought maybe she wanted me to do that so I sat back on my haunches and waited.

Elli watched the filly with gentle eyes. She ran around and around, confused as why she was in the corral and why I was sitting on the ground. with time.. And then finally with time, she came over to me. She stood there staring at me for a couple moments. She nudged my face and looked at me with curious eyes. Then she tilted her head to the side and plopped down onto her haunches. I couldn't help but giggle. I had never seen a filly do this before. Easy girl. Ata girl. I said gently, reaching my hand out to stroke her neck. I then moved my body into the standing position and backed off a couple ways and turned my back to her.

If she followed me around the corrals for a couple times, she was trusting that I wouldn't do anything to harm her and she knew I was kind and gentle. That was what I wanted her to do first. Once she completely trusted me I could start training her to walk on the lead better, lunge, and hopefully follow me anywhere even if it was scary things like tire tubes, plastic bags, and whatnot.

Watching as she stood after she had stroked my neck I could not help but feel like I was learning something her, so when she turned her back to me I backed to the other side and plotted what I was going to do, I was pretty sure I had my plan all made up now just to do it. I ran full out and just inches from her I stopped and bumped her with my nose as to say I am here. I tugged her shirt a little bit before letting go and trotting around her making my own circle around her. I stopped when I was behind her again and bumped her again. Come on come on I want to do more, I whinnied and bumped her yet again eager to learn or do something.

Again, I laughed. Pandora bumped me on my back. She circled me and then stopped, whinnied and bumped me again. Alright you silly girl. Follow me. I said in a playful voice. I glanced back at her and then began forward for a couple steps, stopping for a moment and then beginning again. I made two laps around the ring, hoping she was following before stopping and waiting for her to bump me again and then I would turn around and stroke her neck.

Yay we were learning again, I followed right behind her excited to be doing what she wanted me to do, when she stopped I bumped her. Sad that we had stopped so I walked around the corral and then I trotted around and then cantered entertaining myself wail I waited for her, I had bumped her so I assumed I was ok to go around and around this corral. I tossed my tiny crown and kicked up my heels enjoying the nice spring weather. So when I was done I bumped her again and back up giving her space, staying out of her bubble I had watched my mommy do it before, I snorted and waited in my bubble and out of hers.

Elli watched as Pandora ran around the ring. She kicked up her heels and was having a nice time. Finally she slowed and came back, bumping me again. I smiled. She backed up and stayed out of my space, waiting. I walked closer to her and dug into my pocket bringing out the peppermint I had stored. I held my hand out to her, inviting her to eat the treat.
