The golden bay mare walked through the trees down to the lake. She was quite tall, considering she was a Mustang... She was quite beautiful though. On the outside, she looked as though her life were perfect. She was a happy little mare with a great personality. But her life was not perfect. She had no home. No one to love her. No one to talk to. She found herself talking to herself sometimes, and she didn't want this kind of life anymore. She wanted to be loved.
She reached the beach, and walked over to the water, looking out at the waves. She raised her head and let out a loud whinny to all the stallions around her. It seemed to be saying,'Come find me.'

Ebony stag had just arrived here, and he was happily grazing upon the grasses that was giving him life. Long forelock covered his black orbs, but that did not matter. The scent of the sweet grass was keeping him going. Other scents covered him, but that did not matter. Not yet, at least. He had yet to get a herd, although that was next on his list after he got his strength up and looked like a leader. The sun beat down on his hide, and it seemed to warm him up a little. He may not look like the almighty stud, but when he was younger sometimes it seemed like he was. A sound caught his attention, and he looked up, harks perked as he listened where a damsel called out. Daggers tread the land that was between the two, and as he laid eyes on the caramel chocolate beauty in front of him, his heart stopped a little bit. Finally, he slowed down to a trot as he neared her. You called, m'lady, and I am here to serve. Nox is my name, and it would make me ever-so-happy if you graced me with yours. He bowed his head quickly before bringing it back up.
