Stone Mason APHA gelding Grulla tobiano $3,000.00 Mason stood calmly at his door, boredom marked all over his dark features. The people who came and went here were kind enough, but none of them seemed to find any time to talk to him, or play with him. He wanted contact. Where were his owners? Generally when they took him places, if they left they came back within an hour or so. He had now been here for a good few hours. Mason was standing quiet for the time being, watching all around him. This place was certainly interesting. Horses came and went, people appeared with horses to leave without them, while others came empty handed and left with an equine. There were dogs here and there, along with a good amount of barn cats. One black and white fellow was perched next to Mason, and Mason stretched his nose towards the feline, only to have it flatten its ears and hiss at him. Mason merely snorted in return, and went back to watching business as usual at the sales barn. A stable worker approached with a fresh bucket of water, and Mason wickered happily. The young man came into the stall to hang up the bucket for Mason, and the young gelding was all over him, pushing gently with his nose and tugging his sleeves. The young man laughed and gave Mason a few minutes of attention before exiting the stall. There was a lot to do today, a lot of horses to take care of. Mason stood dejected at his stall door, his long, dark banner flicking every so often as he waited for someone else to come by and give him attention.
