She smiled and opened her orbs, yes but with out you she would not have the coloring she does. She stood and went to nuzzle his nape, then she looked at him. Im going to go nap I need some rest. She touched his cheek, she wont be to hard to handle and if she gets hungry don’t be afraid to wake me up. She spoke softly, nuzzling him again and then she turned and walked into the tall grass, circling she lowered her frame and fell asleep in a quick hurry.

The stallion nodded to the mare as she mentioned she was going to sleep. It couldn’t be that hard to look after a newborn filly right? What harm or trouble could a newborn possibly do? He turned his head to watch as the bay mare moved away then he looked back to the filly that stood before him. He wouldn’t be surprised if the filly hadn’t got used to her legs yet, but she would soon. He lowered his head Hello there Saorise He said smiling at the young equine I am your father, Crusader He finished as he took in the scent of the filly, this was his daughter. His only daughter. He felt so proud of himself, of Aphrodite, even of little Saorise.

Aphrodite jumped awake a few hours later, she sighed and stood to her pillars, her new born daughter was on her mind and it made it a very restless sleep. She sighed and trotted over to there figures, she slowed and bumped his shoulder with her muzzle, she stopped her side pressed against his, she turned to him so how was she? She questioned softly to Crusader, she smiled she trusted him a lot after all this was his daughter and his only one at that right now, she propped a hoof and relaxed along side of him, he was now king of all the herds, which just simply meant that he watched over everything, it also meant that she was along side him, which she would have no other way then it was right now. She looked over at him and nuzzled his cheek and waited. |

The white stallion was surprised at the sudden apperance of the bay mare then nickered to her quietly "She was okay, she didn't give me any trouble at all" He smiled at the mare. After a moment he touched noses with her then his gaze focused on his daughter as she stepped away from him and hurried over to her mother, still on wobbly legs. Crusader wasn't surprised that Saoirse wanted her mother more than anything else. After all, wasn't that how all newborn foals were? He flicked his ear as he looked to Aphrodite again
