Aphrodite looked at him and smiled at his words. She circled him and then stopped walking into the meadow, well then lets have a go at it. She laughed and walked back to him circling him again, her frame brushing his. A foal of there own a son or a daughter that they could raise together, the idea of it made her shiver. She would finally become a mother something she had wanted her whole life but had to wait until she was old enough. She flicked her banner, and looked at him im ready when you are. She spoke softly waiting.

He was still excited at the fact of siring his first foal. He watched as the bay equine circled him, her bodice brushing against his own. He nipped softly at her flank Our foal is going to be the most beautiful foal ever He assured her

He shook his head as he touched noses with the mare. He truly did believe that their foal would be a beautiful one if not gorgeous. He was already thinking to the possibilities the foal could hold. A new future has begun for the herd, and ourselves He spoke at last, a smile appearing on his maw as he gazed at the bay equine.

After everything she was tired were you could sleep, her coat held a layer of sweat and as she felt him touch her nose she looked at him and returned it. Shaking her crown and then nuzzling his cheek, I hope your ready to raise a foal its going to tare this land apart. She laughed, nah it wont you just have to make sure you keep an eye on them, they love to play, run and are quite curious, I have seen a few in my time but as you can tell never had my own and never been with a male till now. She flashed him a smile, now how is it a king like yourself does not have his own sleeping area or do you and if you don’t we are going to find you one, after all that will be were you, the lead mare and your twos children will stay. She flicked her banner and waited.

A smile formed on his maw as they talked of foals I remember how foals are, they always seem to get into some kind of trouble He remembered when he was in his birth herd, the variety of foals that were born there always peaked his interest. They were an curious bunch of equine, always finding some sort of mischief to stick their nose in. Oh don't worry, I have a place to rest He said flicking his ear then nuzzling her shoulder How about I name you as the lead mare? He suggested looking at her again.

She smiled, I had lots of foal friends when I was growing up, I remember this one time a gray colt at the time he was ebony but any way he got lost in a part of the land that my father told him to stay out of, so they had to go and send a search part for him. foalhood was always the best part to foals the worse part for parents. Alright then she spoke softly, feeling his nuzzle on her shoulder then hearing his words, they shocked her a little bit but she looked at him, its up to you I would be very honored though if you did. She smiled and looked at him waiting.

He smiled at her remembering when he was a foal himself I remember when I was a foal, I always got into trouble Every waking moment when he was a foal, he was in some kind of mischeif, whteher it was sneaking up on the elder horses and such. After hearing her response he dipped his head to her You know I would be happy to name you as my lead mare He said smiling at her I don't believe that any other mare could take that place He said raising his head.

She laughed, you don’t want to know how bad of a foal I was. I think more then enough times I gave my father a heart attack, I scared my mother so bad she fainted and that’s all I have to say. She flashed him a smile, bent around to nibble her flank. She turned back to him and caught his words, then I accept the position and I don’t think there would ever be another stallion who could take the place in my heart I have for you. Aphrodite nuzzled his cheek and then looked at him, should we go to the creek and wash up a little? She asked softly waiting.

He laughed as the mare spoke of her mischief as a foal then he listened as the mare spoke Very well. It is also good to here that you feel the same for me as I do for you He looked off towards the direction the creek was located, then flicked his ear before dipping his head again in agreement Yes, of course. He walked a bit ahead of her before looking over his shoulder Shall we my dear? He said looking at her a few more moments before looking back towards the direction of the creek

Of course I feel the same for you as you do for me. She smiled and stepped up near him, yes we should. She walked ahead and soon reached the creek she stepped in and pawed at the water, splashing her chest and her body, she then lowered her frame and let the water run over her frame, standing she shook and begin pawing at the water again. She trotted out and on to shore, her frame soaking wet, tresses clinging to her neck and banner hanging limp. She shook herself again ridding of more water, she felt cleaner now and more refreshed she turned and lowered her maw to the water and sipped contently as she waited for him.

Crusader nodded as he trotted off towards the creek. He watched as the equine splashed in the water then trotted off back to the shore. The creek always brought back a sense of peace to the stallion. The sound of the water going over the rocks was unlike any other. He placed his hooves in the creek and pawed at the water, splashing it on his own ivory bodice, he stopped pawing at the water and shook himself and returned to Aphrodite. He flicked his ear Isn't life wonderful?He asked happily.

She pressed her russet frame against his, they were both wet from the creek but what better way then to be cooled off a soaking wet on a hot summers day? She laughed, yes life is wonderful I know that some days it may not be but today was absolutely wonderful. Aphrodite nuzzled his cheek and pressed her frame closer to his, the sun was begin to set making it become cooler, she shivered and rested her crown upon his back. I like the thought of knowing I will not be alone tonight. She smiled and gave his ivory tresses a slight tug before returning her crown to his back to wait and see what he did.

Crusader laughed as he heard the equine's words and felt her frame against his own. I feel the same. I don't believe I have had company for quite a while He said flicking an ear as he heard the ominous sound of an owl not too far away. It was clear that dusk was nearly upon them, but the darkness of night held no fear for him You will no longer have any worries my dear He said honestly as he finally set eyes upon the owl in a nearby tree.

Aphrodite smiled, im glad I could be your company and soon we will have a child and you will get to feel it kicking against my stomach and I will turn into an elephant by the time its done growing. She laughed and pressed herself closer to him, with you around all my worries will rest easy, I know nothing can harm me unless im stolen or something in which case then I guess I could be but that will never happen. She spoke softly, I love you. She murmured to him and then yawned waiting for him to speak.

He flicked an ear as he heard her speak Aphrodite, I cannot wait to see our child running and playing across these lands. I'm sure we will have a little trouble maker He smiled at the thought of his first foal, a foal meant new beginnings and the true start of his herd. It had only just begun and he knew it. No that will never happen my dear He spoke soon after. A content sigh escaped his maw I love you too His lands, had finally become a home to him, a place that he would never want to leave. He had Aphrodite, so why would he want to leave?

She laughed, knowing all the trouble we caused when we were younger I would have to say that might very well true but we can hope that it will be a perfect angel and that is what I am doing hoping that we will get some sleep and that it will behave but then again it wont go a thing like that. She smiled and nodded. She yawned I don’t know about you but im tired again. She closed her orbs a content sigh leaving her kissers as she drifted off into a very light sleep.
