Aphrodite had decided to try and find Crusader. She had not been able to stop thinking about him for the last few days. So she had finally decided to do something about it, her bouncy trot, covered the land with easy, warm breeze blowing her tresses behind her. Russet coat had a thin layer of sweat upon it but she did not mind she was not like most mares were if they got one speck of dirt or sweat on them they flipped out, those mares drove her nuts. She snorted and tossed her head, she loved to play in the dirt and water, a little mud never hurt no one. She came to a halt as she picked up his scent, trotting into his lands, she looked around wow these were amazing, better then what was back at home, you got a piece of sand and were lucky if it had visual interest. She reared and let a call leave her kissers, she landed and waited for him to come.

crusader ; the fearless
The sky was especially clear and blue on the given day and it satisfied Crusader as he drunk from the waters of the creek that flowed through his lands. He raised his head he was also satisfied that he had come across these lands and claimed it as his own. He had never been a lead before but he was proud that he was one now. He pawed the clear liquids of the creek, splashing the liquid substance onto his ivory coat. His ears flicked as he took notice of a owl snoozing on a nearby tree branch. He didn't mind the flying predator's existence within his land seeing as it caused no harm. Wait, what was that? He flicked his ears once more, he had heard the call of an equine not too far away, but within his lands. He nickered back loudly to the equine who had called to him and he turned on his haunches and began to trot in the direction in which the call had come from. He was surprised to see a bay equine standing on his lands. He stopped in front of the mare and touched noses with the equine "Aphrodite, I did not expect to see you here" He tilted his head to one side, still surprised.

She smiled when she saw him coming, she whickered softly as he touched her nose to his. She relaxed and propped a hoof, you have a very lovely home. She spoke to him looking at him and then looking around, I know you were not expecting to see me I just needed to see you again, I could not stop thinking about you. Aphrodite stood straight now and touched his cheek, nuzzling it. She loved being in his presence, no one except her last mate made her feel quite like this. She could tell he was surprised about her showing up, was it a bad thing? I mean if you don’t want to see me I can leave. She spoke softly, getting ready to leave if he said the words. Aphrodite sighed, she did not know if he felt the same way about her and by his expression, it seemed as though he never had planed on seeing her again, she lowered her crown and waited for him to say the words.

He pricked his ears at the mentioning of his land "Yes, it is truly beautiful" He observed the landscape for a few moments before resting his gaze on the bay equine again. The stallion had not expected the equine to come come to his lands, why in the world would such a beautiful equine follow him here? Seeing this particular equine made his heart leap, he had never acquired such feelings for another before. "Of course I wanted to see you, although I didn't expect for you to come here" He flicked his ear and touched noses with the Arab equine once more, smiling at her kindly.

She smiled and listened to his kind lyrics, its not the kindest world out there and well I figured I would not see you around the freelands so I came here. she stepped closer to him, nibbling his nape and then resting her crown upon his back, her hoof propped and she sighed, I like you a lot more then just friends and not like brother and sister. I like you as a lover. She spoke softly, yawning she could not remember when the last time was that she had a peaceful night sleep, it always seemed when she would close her eyes a predator would come out or she would hear rustling and un pleasant things that would make her jump awake and stay awake until morning. Aphrodite yawned again, her crown still resting upon his back, she began to doze off waiting for him to speak.

He snorted and nuzzled the equine "Well you are welcome in my lands" He flicked his ears as the mare rested her head across his back "I believe I could classify myself as your lover a well" He flicked his tail across his flanks as he noticed a monarch butterfly flutter past his muzzle and he marveled at the small creature for a few moments, for a creature so small it was truly beautiful. "Perhaps you would like to stay in my land?"

She was jolted awake by something biting her rump, she slammed a dagger into the ground and danced sideways. Aphrodite shook her crown, catching his words. She smiled, really? So easy just like that, wow this is really different then my old home there the stallions ran around and did a dance to court the mare but please don’t do that I have never shaken that image it still burns in my mind. She snorted with discontent, it was not an enjoyable experience, it was hell to sit threw and watch, she shuttered slightly and looked at him, I think I would very much like to stay in your lands. She smiled letting her frame brush his as she nibbled along his nape and then lowered her crown and nibbled his chest. Aphrodite, moved back to nuzzle his cheek before resting her crown upon his back again, her rump faced away from him, her banner swishing from side to side, every once and awhile as she found her orbs getting droopy again. She waited for his words.

He lowered his head to take a few bites out of the long grass that brushes against his legs, then he raised his head, chewing on the grass slowly for a few moments. I don't believe stallions do such a thing here He said afterwhile then he flicked a ear and continued speaking, And stay you shall if it is your wish He lowered his head once more and resumed grazing before lifting his head once more and gazing out at the landscape before flicking his ear again My lands are entirely safe, as of the current moment He cocked a hoof as he watched another bird take flight, there sure were alot of woodland creatures that called these lands home.

She smiled that’s good, before being to doze off again. Yes I will stay and I have no doubt in my mind that your lands are perfectly safe. She smiled again and raised her crown to look about, harks flicking every once and awhile to catch a sound that happened, do you have a cave or some place I can lay down and rest for awhile I am quite tired now. Aphrodite gave him a smile, if ever you need to use my name just come up with a nickname it’s a lot easier then saying the full thing, unless its really formal then use my full name but I don’t really care for my full name. She tilted her crown and waited for him to speak.

The stallion looked around his land once more then flicked an ear at the mare words The safest placed in my land is near the creek. He had only realized that the creek was safe a few suns ago. The trees and brush that surrounded the creek were extremely thick and lush and somehow protecting. There was a feeling of safety that lingered around the whispering creek and it eased the stallion's wariness sometimes but not all of the times. He wanted any equine that called his land home to be safe and he would make sure that they were indeed safe.

She smiled and touched his nose, im going to go lay down for awhile it wont be to terrible long then after word you can show me around? She smiled and nuzzled him again and then moved off toward the creek. When she reached it she took a sip first and then found a nice spot to lay, it was under a willow tree, that had shorter grass under it but longer grass around it almost making a wall. She sighed and walked under it, circling she lowered her frame and wrapped her banner around her pillars and then her crown around her pillars and fell asleep.

The stallion watched as the mare headed off towards the creek. He flicked his ear and swung his head around in the opposite direction, he figured he would scout the landscape that surrounded the creek. He lowered his head to sniff the grasses that brushed against his knees as the wind swept through the small meadow. He swished his tail at the flies that were buzzing at his flanks then he raised his head once more and snorted. He swept his blue gaze over the meadow before trotting off into the dense wooded area of his land. The pine trees seemed to welcome him into their comforting range. The shade from the trees were a safe haven from the sun's harsh rays of sunlight. The stallion was near the creek, he was mainly scouting the land so that he could protect the bay equine who slumbered a few lengths from it. He had his first member of his herd and he would make sure that she was safe, he would do the same even if she wasn't a member of his still growing herd. He came to a halt once more and gazed out into the cluster of trees, satisfied that they were no dangers.

she felt something crawling on her nose, so she wiggled it but it did not come off instead it crawled further up her nose. She opened up her orbs to see a spider on it, she was not crazy about spiders and this one scared her, she leapt to her hoofs and it still did not move, she ran out from under the tree and went straight to the creek were she submerged her nose and then and only then did it come off. She raised her crown and shook the water off, then wiggled her nose the feeling of something crawling on her still there, well she was wide awake now, a soft whicker left her it was only intend for the one she liked or loved she still could not tell how he felt. Aphrodite, lowered her muzzle and touched the water, ebony forelock falling in front of her left orb as she began to sip at the cool liquid. Her mind begin to wander from thought to thought, wail she waited.

The wind was still blowing slightly despite the large amount of trees that dotted the landscape. Crusader shook his head after the wind died down. The wind seemed to ease the heat of the hot season but only temporarily. He was still standing in the same spot after he had completed his scouting but then his ear flicked as he heard a sound a few lengths away, possibly towards the creek. He figured it belonged to the bay equine and soon enough he called back in response to her before he turned on his haunches and started heading towards the creek. The smell of the water lingered on the air, hinting towards the still running creek that loomed ahead. He started trotting now as he caught scent of Aphrodite again, content that she was safe. He hoped that the equine was well rested now. He lowered his head as a hanging branch loomed above him and then he slowed to a walk as the mare's beautiful bay coat appeared near the creek. He lowered his head then raised it again allowing his blue gaze to rest on her again Good day Aphrodite A smile appeared upon his maw as his ears came forward. He was happy to see the mare again even if he wasn't away for long.

She giggled at his formal greeting to her, it made her feel like she was leading a hard again, but alas she was not he was and she had to follow him and his rules that he set fourth. She stepped near him, pressing her muzzle into his nape and taking in his scent, I had the most terrible thing happen to me I awoke to find a spider on my nose she spoke. Leaning against him to nibble along his spine, she raised her crown, it was a very scary spider at that and why it chose my nose out of everything is beyond me. She smiled and nibbled along his spine again. She pulled away and then stepped back so she could look at him, still confused on how he felt so she turned her crown shyly away from him, im sorry I do not know what over came me she spoke softly. Not looking at him, crown was lowered and turned shyly away from him still as she waited for his words.[/size
