Dominic galloped onto the basin. Seeing plenty of grass, he slowed down to a walk and grazed for a little bit until moving to another grassy spot a few feet form the first one. He continued grazing like that until he found the lake. It looked deep. He looked up and slowly put his front hoof in. He didnt fall in. So, he put the rest of his hoofs in, he slowly walked in. It wasn't too deep. He scratched the gorund in front of him before he walked. He walked about six feet before his hoof hit nothing when he scratched. he almost fell forward, but he dug his back legs into the bottom of the shallow end of the lake. He looked around and saw a few horses in the distance, but they weren't paying any attention to him. He sat down, like a dog, and flopped onto his side, rolling in the water. The water barely came up to his stomach when he was on the back. He thought that he shouldn't do it for too long, in case he rolled into the deep part of the lake. He rolled onto his stomach, and slowly got up. He shook his head, his mane getting stuck on his forehead. He threw his head up and down, trying to get his mane out of his eyes, and shook his body as much as a horse could. His white coat stuck out a little bit more, allthough he had some dirt spots the water did not wash off. He didn't bathe to get clean, he was a horse afterall. But he loved the feeling of the water all over his body. When he was a colt, before he escaped, he loved baths.

A white beauty was running threw the fields, her long mane and tail flew behind her, she was wild and no human would ever catch her. She stopped on top of the hill, her green blue eyes searched for some water, and the lake was right there, she slowly trotted to the water shore, where she spotted a male rolling in it, she giggled. What a goof, soon she dipped her mouth in the water delicately taking a drink, her mane fell in the water too, making it soaked, URGH, but she could do nothing about it, it was the fact of life for a wild horse like her self. Soon Ruby was done her drink and she noticed the Stallion was done with his fun, maybe she should go over and say hi, Ruby was no one for being rude. She walked slowly, her tail high, and ear normal, she was sweet, but wanted to show her place, she had also noticed how white the male was, just like her self, pure, ''Why hello there!".

Dominic jumped as he heard a horse come towards him. He thought he was the only one around the lake. The horse that approached him was beautiful. Pure white, like him. "Um, Hello." Most horses didn't just come up to him and say hello. They mostly just said 'hey' or just neighed a warning sound.
He never really carried out a conversation with another horse before. He was usually the one off to the side, while the herd was huddled together, staying safe where humans on their own horses could gallop towards them, throwing their roap onto a straggler. Allthough Dominic never really ran with the herd, he wasn't the slowest.

Ruby did not yet join a herd, though she did know this horse, she shook her head and smiled at the Stalion, he seemed nice, maybe a little crazy, but she could be friends with him, ''Nice to meet you! Im Ruby, or Angel as my friends say, what ever suits ya!''. She threw her head back and flipped her hair which was falling in her face, making her wet, but it was fine, her white mane would dry soon, but she still found that her and the stallion where probably the only horses that where so white, the must be special.

Angel, what a nice name. Dominic neighed at her, approving of her name. "My name is Dominic, you can call me Dom." He thought about their names, so opposite. Of course, he was a stallion, and she a mare. But they were at the extremes. Angel was such a girly name, and Domiinic was so manly, and rough. He was hoping she wasn't all prissy and really girly. He hated that in a mare, allthough he has never been 'with' a mare. When he was younger, he was always all over the mares, but the head stallion would always run him off. He never got hurt though, he was always fater. Allthough this one time he was eyeing the head stallions mare and the stallion galloped up behind him kicked him in the back legs. Nothing broke, it was just a warning kick, but he was in a lot of pain for a week of so.
He looked around to make sure no stallions were eyeing him. Lately, no one really worried about him because he had no desire to be with a mare, and most of the other horses knew that.

The mare smiled, ''Nice name! Though i like Ruby better but some how they say i look like an angel in the moon light'',she shrugged and looked around, she had an idea, right after she ended talking to this Stallion she would run and maker her way to another herd, she would join, yes. Ruby always wanted a herd, a family of her own, it was her dream, a nice, well huge family, and even a foal of her own.''Well i think im gonna join a herd after this!'', her voice was exited and her blue/green eye shining with excitement, she stomped afoot, trying to show how serious she was about this.

Dominic smiled his little horsey smile. She was cute, yes definately. But he was apprehensive to what she said about joining a herd. Why would you want to go and do a thing like that? He had never thought of joining a herd. Ever since he escaped as a colt. He met some horses along the way who advised him to join a herd. It was safer. It was easier to escape the humans and any predators that wanted to hurt, or kill them. But he was alive, so he wasn't having trouble with it. Every now and then he thought it would be nice to have a steady family, not going form land to land, running with a different herd every week. He didn't like staying at once place for long. He was hyper and flighty. Most the horses he ran with liked staying in one land; easier to raise their young they always said. Neither did he think he would ever have young. All the mares he encountered when he was younger thought he was immature, always acting like a fun. He's calmed down a lot in the last year. But no one still didn't like him.
